Cool video!, how do you move the anchor point without using the select tool?, Because I see on your video that you are only using the pen tool and you can move fluently the anchor points. Anyone help?

Well theres a not so fast way you can do it. If u use the Direct Select tool (A) you can then select any anchorpoint and use the little handlebar to make your curve pointy! It does take a while but gets the job done in the end.

Don't hide the layer, instead make its opacity to zero :)

Lock the layer and drop the opacity down.

CTRL (Cmd on Mac) + Click Visibility Icon = toggle view mode (Outline/Preview). So the layer wasn't hidden, only the preview of the contents was.

They are using the bezier curve pen tool. It takes a lot of practice to figure out how to use it. I'm still confused sometimes.

You can see in the tool bar the artist is using the pen tool. You can access this tool by pressing P on your keyboard. Hope this helps even though I am 10 months late haha.
