Chevrolet was nice enough to lend us a brand spanking new 2018 Traverse for a whole week, but that wasn’t all. They also told us to report to famed racetrack Lime Rock Park for a day of winter track driving fun. Here’s what happened and how the Traverse performed in treacherous conditions.

This is going to be the biggest nerd flex ever but I’m a 4-time traverse owner. I’ve been in an 09 LS, 17 LT, 18 High Country and a 21 Premier (Redline edition). They’re all amazing. But the HC is my favorite. I still own two of them lol. They’re just beautiful cars to me, but I’m a car person so a lot of weird cars tickle my fancy lol.

Wish chevy offer this for owners of the traverse so they too can learn how to properly drive in snow condition.

Yes...wish they have snow course like this for the enthusia to put they're traverse through and finding what they're traverse is capable of at the same time be able to have fun enjoying the ride. I have the 2018 traverse AWD and have not been able to put my Traverse through these kind of weather condition. Maybe someday I will when there's a course available for customers to test theyre vehicle.

If I gotta work... I just want a vehicle that is adept at not getting stuck in snow or mud.. I'll be responsible as possible. The vehicle Im leaning towards most is the Toyota 4RUNNER TRD Off Road Premium.

I totally just watched this because I got a '16 traverse in August. I've been a Jeep driver most of my life. I live in the midwest and wanna be prepared in my new vehicle for the snow!

To truely know how your car handles in snowy condition is to actually do it yourself and feel the car. Never panick and remain focus and calm when you are sliding in snowy condition.

I have one (LT3 Leather) w/4wd. Love it. Lived in AK and CT, you just have to take it easy. Which you would think was common sense.

knowing your car's handling and performance is key to driving safely. Never push your car over its capability and it will keep you safe. And always have the proper gear for an emergency. And use the proper tires for winter.

Equinox only comes with turbo i4 engines no V6 like the Traverse.

The red car he is driving it is an Equinox not a Traverse.

The red one is yes, but the one he’s talking in while driving is the traverse H.C.
