Finally got to making a guide on how to "properly" use lumi to do insane damage (i.e. do topdmg on priest against 4/4 wizzies, hit 2m+ on summoner, etc) as I don't see many people using it to its full effectiveness.
Played pretty good, but could've played better as the countless mistakes pointed out in the video show. Used 1 dex consumable (had a lot from the winter event lol); would've been ~2.00m w/o it.

The statistics of the two classes are very informative but taking in consideration that without Lumi+Incu summoner is basically useless, where as in the wizard all you need is an ep and wc tops to get top.
If you have best in slot definitely summoner is no where near comparison but if you take it on practical note provided that Lumi has to be forged with incu vs spending few glifes to get an ep and a regular spell

All you need is incu to get top, I’ve topped with t14, incu, vesture and coronation over 4/4 wizards many times and I’m a pretty bad summ player compared to ppl like risguy and darren, and even ppl like homura who doesn’t really use summoner has gotten top without lumi a lot while hitting 170k-200k+ DPM so Idk about ‘summoner being useless without lumi + incu’, plus all of Risguy’s earlier videos is him topping vs exalted 4/4 wizzys without lumi lol

I’ve topped twice with incu only (solo, 25 man run). Also lvl 18 unpotted top was basically just incu. It’s much more broken than lumi.
Also wc tops wizzy doesn’t come close to summoner. Does around 50-60% as much dmg

10:15 u didnt actually gain damage tho from the "stack", u need to inch up while he's still invuln for optimal stacking, then the burst of lumi is actually an addition. its like when u vblade, u switch the enforcer when he becomes vulnerable. u should be on top of him the moment he becomes vulnerable, so u need time ur stack properly

As I mentioned, this is a common misconception. The only time when timing the stack gets you more damage is when his vulnerability period is less than 1.8s, which is almost never the case with large public o3
Assume lumi effective shot duration is 1.5s (1.8s but can’t hit all the shots at all range). The number of shots that hit him in both scenarios in the 1.5s of vulnerability are:
- 1.5s of shots that you shoot while running on top of him
- 1.5s of shots that are already shot while invulnerable
Timing the stack only changes when these shots hit him; the shots already placed during the invul period and shots newly shot during the vulnerable period still apply.

@@NoobWaffle_rotmg when i say "stack" i was referring to when u ran up to him. you're right about the 1.5s thing because moving forward only gains damage if ur trying to do it in one burst. i just meant u running up to him doesnt give u any extra damage in the way ur doing it after he's vulnerable so u might as well run up to him during the invuln.
stack refers to the stack of shots when u inch forward w lumi. "stack"ing when he's alr vulnerable doesnt really do anything which was my point.

​@@kaibirotmg What I do gives me the exact same damage in this scenario; the common belief that burst stacking is better than lazy stacking (when 1. boss is stationary 2. boss is vulnerable for at least 1.5s) is wrong. See the image for a visual explanation. imgur.com/a/OgayU9u
For non stationary phases or if O3 might not be vulnerable for 1.5s, then burst stacking strictly beats lazy stacking. Both of these do not apply to non-chase phases in public O3.
