I heard this yesterday from radio and was amazed by the melody. Even today I could not get it out of my mind. To think that a song of modern music could sound do good is astonishing. EDIT: Seriously, whoever composed this is a genius.
It was written by Mark Topham who has written songs for Steps, and Karl Twigg who has worked with Steps, Westlife and Backstreet Boys. It does have a touch of Sash! about it though. Tina said she was invited on several religious TV shows to perform this song, although she said it's not about religion, but respecting our environment. I thought it could have a religious message in it as well. Whatever the songs means to the listener, it's a great song and I think Tina has a great voice.

I LOVED this track back in the day when I was living in Sydney in 1999. It was one of the highlights of Mardi Gras. I loved the album too and never understood why Tina was not commercially more successful in the U.K. Her vocals are stunning. Particularly on ‘Wonderful Life’. Pray sounds as good today as it did 21 years ago and the message is as relevant now, if not more so.
