    Maryna, you never cease to amaze! This is just brilliant. I will never do another gtco again. Mine never look very neat, I hate the fiddleyness of them and don’t really like garter edges either😂! Your many tips and tricks have greatly improved both my knitting and my knitting experience, so THANK YOU!❤❤

    Thank you. I just tinked a shawl due to a hump and now trying this.

    Thank you for this!! I've been struggling so hard with the garter tab on a shawl I'm making, and it's so messy 😩 I'll practice the garter tab when I have the time, but I've got a Christmas gift to start (and finish) - this will take me past the hard part!!

    WOW, perfect. I do object to the usual hump, because it affects how the neckline rests on the back of my neck.

    Thank you! I'll definitely try this! I can see why the very edges stay tidy and straight.

    If starting a hat from the to down, keep working with the loop for a nice tight hole.

      Thank you, Gale. That's a very good way to start a top-down hat. Thank you :-)

    When i go to the site you give for the photo tutorial, I have to PAY to get it. Why??? You've gone too commercial!

    • @10rowsaday
      @10rowsaday  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My dear Pat. Most of the tutorials, e-books, charts and patterns I make are available for free, but some resources are offered for a fee. It happens because just like you and most other people I have bills to pay. I am sorry you find it too commercial.

      TH-camrs do, unfortunately, live in the same world as the rest of us - they have the same bills to pay. The photo tutorial is a paid product, sure, but this video is completely free! You can pause it when you need to, rewind to whatever you need to repeat, and slow the play speed down if you need it to go slower. You could even take screenshots of each step if you need the still images!
      It'd be great if everyone could share everything for free, but some people have this as their actual job - and jobs need to generate an income. The only way around this would be implementing a generous universal basic income so that everyone's financial needs were met, and that's a controversial topic to say the least (and certainly not anything that's going to happen on a large scale anytime soon).
