Beautiful work and it appears to be relatively easy compared to some. It looks like a very good beginner filagree piece. What size wire gauge are you using? Could the filigree be fused rather than soldered if I used 999 fine silver? The ONLY powdered Silver Solder I have seen is rather expensive because it's sold in quantities of 0.75 OZT for $50 which is more than I want to pay to experiment and find out if I would actually make a lot of filagree jewelry. Since I can't find filagree lattice, I thought I might try to make it. Anyway, thank you very much for sharing this.👍 You did a beautiful job and I really LOVE THE BAIL you made for the heart!❤️

I think it is a mixture of borax and Russian filigree powder (fine solder) Bruce, if you check out Filigreenus, he has vids of him making the hair thin wire and twisting it to make the decorative wire.
Дружище, используй разведению буру с водой при пайке, это упростит тебе процесс пайки. А так же более мягкое пламя. При наборе филигранью не должно быть многослойных стартовых завитков. вместо одного оального стоило вставить два круглых, но меньшего размера. Это сделало бы более интересный узор

Great video, I am finding my filigree wire comes undone after soldering, any tips! Especially as you soldered jumping on later!!
Just make sure the piece is clean before soldering, and add enough solder .hope it helps!
