These are the types of videos that can change a lawn business for the better. But here we are with less than a 100 views while the mowing tall grass videos are getting 8k. This is good stuff man... keep it up.

hahaha It always blows my mind. The appearance of the business is far more attractive to people than the back end business side. Yet, the business side is what will let you actually succeed and not look like you succeeded.

This channel is very under rated. Mike is very knowledgeable for his age and the time he has been in business.

Great video. Maybe one day you can explain what is a reasonable amount of money a business should have in their account. For example, if my business makes $400,000 a year is it Ok to have over $100,000 in the account? If not, why? Thank you for all the knowledge you are giving us all. I really enjoy your videos

Mowing always calmed me, I would mow every day for the rest of my life if I could but I will tell you, no one wants to do it and it costs way too much. We are being strangled by debt right now and the majority of it is directly related to mowing and "maintenance". Lawn Care is the way to go. I wish I knew enough about marketing to make my Lawn Care side take off. And let's not forget that employees do not take care of equipment in the mowing field. Lawn Care guys are usually a higher caliber employee.

Great video! In regards to scenario number 2 regarding your personal risk tolerance: When you say double the profit, are you referring to gross profit or net profit?

It would be interesting to Find out what he actually did regarding this. If I was in his shoes I would’ve stayed with the aeration because there is so much money in aerations and overseed. I worked for a company and did all their aerations for almost 12 years. I made a friend in the office and I asked her how much money I was making the company. She said that you were alone I made 30 K just in residential properties and when it came to the commercial properties to double that amount.

Ppl that brag about using debts and take loans on everything business related are hypocrites. Ask them to go guarantor for your business related loan and you'll get ignored

Question: I am tired of door knocking and getting 1 lead per week from our website. Is it wise to go into debt 15k for an SEO keyword packed website that will crank up leads from 1 a week to 10 a week organically? Or is that too risky because I’m counting on it working, but won’t know for sure if it will?

Definitely don’t spend $15K. Check out LawnCareWebDesign.com that is subscription based and allows unlimited changes
