Great video as always. I do worry when shot through the long lens how they stay on the track especially when they are nipping along. All the best. Mick.
Fantastic video and what an event! The RH&DR always know how to put on a show. 👍👍 But Is the event really expensive, why were the trains pretty much empty.?
Very much enjoyed this Event! Feels more like a Steam Gala with the only 1 shot appearence from No.15 and no sign of No.12! Still Thanks again for another RHDR video :D
On the Sunday, it very much was more in-line with a steam gala. On the Saturday, No15 did do more, but on the Sunday was only on the demonstration freight. Unfortunately No12 failed before the event. Glad you enjoyed it.
I’ve never ridden on the RHDR, but always wanted to. Having seen the state of a lot of the track, I think I’ll pass, at least for the foreseeable. Some of it looked like an accident waiting to happen, if not actually overdue. Nice video though.
The smaller gauge doesnt help things but it really is looking pretty rough. Could certainly do with some plant trimming and a bit of smoothing out. Saying that though, where i volunteer isnt much better and thats 2' narrow gauge 😅
They slow on certain sections to accommodate risk, has anyone been on a London bus lately, total dickheads, we get on the bus and the driver pulls away like Juan Fangio, not nice, the driver can't hear what you are speaking because they are talking to someone on the earplugs, and we are only paying passengers !!!. Viva Dymchurch Railway 4ever.😂
Seven up with River Esk at the head, great stuff - you can always rely on the RH&DR to have a bonkers moment and put on a show!! Thanks Matthew👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it, Bob! They really do make a good show of their galas!
Used to spend a lot of time in Hythe as a kid. Would jump off the bridge near Botolphs and swim in the canal.
This is awesome. My girlfriend and my daughter who’s nearly 3 went on this today .
What a wonderful experience can’t wait to do it again 👍🏻
look at the state of that track.
Well it is nearly 100 years old
Another amazing video of yours to add to my RH&DRy Playlist! 😍😍😍😍
Thanks very much
Amazing video Matt, it was nice to see you again
A pleasure as always, Jake
Super Video Matthew, Great seeing and chatting to you. 😄
Thank you, great to see you again too!
Very Nice, and again yours is up before mine 😂
Wow what a show 👍
Brilliant footage Matthew. It's been a while since I've been to the RHDR, I really must go back sometime.
Lovely Video❤ Beautiful little trains also ♥️love how there are 7 Steam engines going by the beautiful Countryside ❤️ Beautiful sounding horns ❤
Super video :)
Thank you

Flying Scotsman replica looks amazing
25:50 woah look at that that’s a lot of steam engines to work on one train
If I go overseas this is one more place I must go and see
I’ve been on this!
27:00 what an earth was that leaping across the track?!?!? 😂
Fox
A fox, they're quite common in Dungeness
фантастика.
Some of these trains seem almost empty of passengers - how is the RHDR managing these difficult days?
❤ 🚂🚃🚃🚃 ❤️
At 12:12 what number is that loco?
Bassett-Lowke Class 30 - No32 "Count Louis". Built in 1924, to an order placed by Count Louis Zborowski.
Where are Hurricane (No 8) and Typhoon (No 7) ?
No7 is on display at the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway. No8 is under overhaul, in the queue behind No9.
@@TheSouthernerYTChannel ok thks
I see myself 😂😂

It’s not there fault
@@Trainsandbits It’s their track, so it’s nobody else’s!
