If a suspect is holding a knife or sharp object and is tazed or pepper sprayed they could possibly throw the weapon possibly injuring bystanders and peace officers. Tazer isn’t a liable option here.

They shouldn't have shot him, he was a safe distance away from those officers. The only reason why he got "closer" was because the officer moved towards him, perhaps to try and legally allow him to murder the man in cold blood. What happened to only shooting as a last resort?
The cops made multiple mistakes. The officers upon seeing the knife and distancing themselves should of immediately ordered the suspect to drop the weapon. On top of that, at no point should the officer recording have stepped toward the suspect putting himself and possibly his partner at risk of being harmed. Finally, the second officer shouldn’t have shot the already down suspect. Instead they should’ve cleared the scene and immediately contacted EMTs to assist the suspect. All around poor policing.
Just watched this after hunting mice with my cousins, neighbors, and their cats. We pretended to be police officers and reporters and called the mouse OJ lmao.
