- This lesson will identify the characteristics of the Two Witnesses of Revelation, and related prophetic time periods. How are the Two Witnesses "killed" and "resurrected"? What special mission is given to the Two Witnesses today?

THE APOSTLE PAUL STATED THAT THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM HAD BEEN PREACHED IN ALL THE WORLD FOR A WITNESS UNTO ALL NATIONS , AND PAUL WAS KILLED BEFORE THE FALL OF JERUSALEM BY ROME .
THE END THAT JESUS WAS TALKING ABOUT WAS THE TEMPLE ; THE ANSWER TO THE FIRST PART OF THE QUESTION ASKED HIM IN VERSE 3 .
UNDERSTAND , THE GOSPEL WILL ONLY COME TO THE ONES IN THE COVENANT WITH THE FATHER , AND THE STRANGERS WHO FEAR HIM AND WORKETH RIGHTEOUSNESS .

REVELATION 11 , BEGINS WHEN JOHN PROPHESY AGAIN OF WHAT HE SEE ; AS INSTRUCTED BY THE ANGEL IN REVELATION 10:11 ; AFTER JOHN HAD TAKEN THE LITTLE BOOK FROM THE ANGEL , AND EATEN IT UP .
REVELATION 11:1-2 , " 1.And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
JOHN BEGINS TO PROPHESY AGAIN AROUND THE TIME OF THE DESTRUCTION OF JERUSALEM IN 73 A.D..
The temple is the second temple before it's destruction in 73 A.D. .
The temple, which was destroyed along with the rest of Jerusalem by the Romans in AD 73 , contained four separate “courts,” separated from one another and each designed for a different purpose: the Court of the Gentiles, the Court of the Women, the Court of Israel (or the Court of Men), and the Court of Priests. The Court of the Gentiles is referred to as “the outer court” in Revelation 11:2.
The prophesy of the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months , is the warning that Jesus made in Matthew 24:15-16, Mark 13:14 , and Luke 21:20-21 ; which allowed the believers to fled Judaea into the wilderness , when the Roman army first surrounded Judaea but withdrew approximately 3.5 years earlier . The armies returned and blocked off Jerusalem at the time of the spring feast in 70 A.D. ; and it was destroyed in the fall of 73 A.D. .

Jeremiah 11:16-17 , " 16.The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.17.For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.
The church is the covenant between the Father and the ones he hast gone into the covenant with to keep all of his laws ; which are the children of Israel.
The two witnesses in Revelation 11 , are Israel and Judah .
The two olive trees and candlesticks : the northern and southern kingdoms of Israel .
ROMANS 11:16-18 , " 16.For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17.And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18.Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
Jeremiah 31:35-46 , " 35.Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
36If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
Clothed in sackcloth means in mourning ; which they prophesied the word of the God of Israel for a thousand two hundred and threescore days in the wilderness .
Revelation 12:5-6 , " 5.And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.6.And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
They were protected by the daughters of Moab .
Isaiah 16:1-4 , " 1.Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
2For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
3Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.
4Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
Revelation 11:5 , " 5.And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
The fire coming out of their mouth is the word of God , not real fire .
Jeremiah 23:29 , " 29.Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
Are you implying that the two witnesses are not the old and the new testament??

THERE IS AN ORDERLY STRUCTURE IN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE GOD OF ISRAEL , JUST LIKE THERE IS AN ORDERLY STRUCTURE IN THE KINGDOM OF MAN .
1. HOW MANY NATIONS HAST HE MADE A COVENANT WITH TO KEEP HIS LAWS ?
EXODUS 24:1-8 , 1.And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.
2And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.
3And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.
4And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
5And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.
6And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
7And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.
8And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.
HEBREWS 8:6-10 , 6.But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
7For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
8For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
2. WHAT IS A WITNESS ?
a person who sees an event, typically a crime or accident, take place:
"police are appealing for witnesses to the accident" · "I was witness to one of the most amazing comebacks in sprinting history"
A WITNESS TO THE GOD OF ISRAEL IS ONE WHO HE GAVE HIS LAWS .
3. WHO HAST HE GIVEN HIS LAWS TO ?
PSALM 147:19-20 , 19.He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

4. DID GOD CHANGE AFTER CHRIST DEATH & RESURRECTION ?
MALACHI 3:6 , For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
THE GOD OF ISRAEL DOES NOT CHANGE ; THE GOD OF ISRAEL IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSON : ANYONE FROM ANY NATION WHO FEAR HIM AND WORKETH RIGHTEOUSNESS HE ACCEPTS ( STARTING WITH ADAM ) , BUT ISRAEL IS THE ONLY NATION UNDER HIS LAWS , BECAUSE ISRAEL IS THE ONLY NATION HE HAST MADE A COVENANT WITH ( ACTS 10:34-36 ) .
1 CORITHIANS 9:19-21 , 19.For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
20And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
21To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
UNDERSTAND ! CHRIST IS THE MEDIATOR OF THE COVENANT BETWEEN THE FATHER AND THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL ; THE ATONEMENT FOR SIN GOES THROUGH THE MEDIATOR/HUSBAND ; FOR THE ONES UNDER THE FATHER'S COVENANT WHO BELIEVE BY FAITH ; ALSO FOR THE ONES NOT UNDER THE FATHER'S COVENANT , WHO BELIEVE THROUGH FAITH .
5. WHO HAST HE CALLED HIS WITNESSES ?

22And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
23Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
24And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

ISAIAH 43:1-15 , 1.But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
2When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
4Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
5Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
6I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
7Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
8Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
9Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
10Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
11I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
12I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.
13Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
14Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
15I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.
MATTHEW 2:1-6 , 1.Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
3When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
4And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
5And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
6And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
MICAH 5:1-4 , 1.Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.
2But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
3Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.
4And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.
ISAIAH 49 , 1-8 , 1.Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.
2And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;
3And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.
4Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.
5And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.
6And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
7Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.
8Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;
PSALM 147:19-20 , 19.He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
20He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
