Falcon Lake Part 4 -This week TW Pro Marty Stone flips the Zoom and Zoom Lizard for pre-spawn fish.
I believe fish stick to cover more so to use as an ambush point or to help 'hide' in order to ambush bait than to get out of sunlight...you can definitly can fish in heavy cover on a cloudy day..
One of my favorite baits, works fine in Brazil for trahira (wolf fish, Hoplias malabaricus)
I use 8 pound its works great
Ya if ur using more then 12lb on bass I want to know what those people r doing to catch 40 lb plus bass that don't exist. People overkill rods and lines for little fish. He's using a 20 lb line and 5 ought hook for 4 lb max bass. I could catch those with a crappie rod

Question, Marty says that fishing seems to be slower on cloud cover days, I seem to think those are the best days to fish, esp on overcast cloudy days. I would much rather fish overcast cloudy days than blue bird sky days anyday

Hell yeah I've been a huge fan of lizards for atleast 6 years when I first used them. The other day tho was my first brushhog and dammm I killed em like 13 in 3. Good day for me. 3 back to back in 5min all from 2-3lbs was nice
@4:20...using a big 5/0 hook and 25lb test line...why not swing em? I think its funny watchin people roll around on the deck or freak out with their net trying to get a bass, just swing em

I would appreciate that guys. Black and blue works in lots of other baits. Not sure why not try it for creature as well. I love the BLACK Nd blue beaver Baits
Blue fleck is close to black and blue but its a dark dark purple. And blue. Biggest fish this year was caught on one. (Only 4.9)

You can use a bobber stopper or peg your sinker with a toothpick/peg it.

Na u can catch 20 and 30 lb catfish on 12 lb line all day. 20 and 30 lb line is for 50 and 60 lb cats. Ur scared of loosing 1 ain't u? U got a rod the size of a crane u might as well just use a commercial barge to get them and yet Ur struggling and grunting over a 4 lb or 3 lb bass in my opinion. My 4 year old catches 3 and 4 pounders a lot with 4 lb test and a barbie rod and doesn't even grunt once
