Five Plaice , Gilt Head Bream , Dab plus more

Left the mooring at 0800hrs this morning and headed to Hillhead area again , tried another new mark in 20 foot of water turned out to be a kennel . From the first drop Doggies were coming in two at a time with the odd school bass and a Dab thrown in. I eventually I found a small plaice but the doggies just kept coming so it was time for a move .
Moved up towards Hamble and went in to 12/15 foot of water . By this time it was first high water stand so no bites for about 1/2 hour . Soon as the tide started to move it switched on the plaice , first was a double shot one of them 40cm and the other 35cm on a Quality Time Rattling plaice rig, ten minutes later another 40cm spotty came to the boat . Then the school Bass and whiting joined the party .
Then came a funny little sharp jabbing bite , well the last thing I was expecting was a Gilt head Bream !!! I was well please with that it made number 15 on my species hunt list . By 1500hrs I was running out of bait (went through 150 worms) so started to pack up the rods , only to find another nice Plaice on the line but it looked like Mr seal had had his tail.
I Fished 4 rods with 2 hook Running ledger rigs with Cox and Rawle scratching match hooks size 4 top and size 2 bottom with beads and sequins,all baited with rag worms
