  • User Sheffer asked me about demonstrating how to reset a trap base automatically, and many of you have asked for a demonstration of a full working trap base build. So here you go, basic little trap base with excessive firepower that will auto-reset itself!
    Special thanks to NUT for demoing the trap for me :)

    This one is killing me, I adjusted the circuit because I have two doors open and one closed but aside from that, all is the same as far as the wiring goes. My problem is that the timer will not reset. I tried the HBHF sensor and pressure pad with no luck. I have more than enough power from my small generator so power is not an issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    pretty sure you're not powering the batteries enough to last through the night

      Yeah probably not. Probably needs two solar panels with a better full-day coverage on each circuit to get a full battery charge and keep it off battery later in the day/earlier in the morning.

    Hello There. I love your videos. I would be struggling much much more without your guidance on how electric stuff works in Rust. I am currently designing Exterior TC w/ 6 Turret Garages and I keep coming back to your videos in order to study the parts and combinations.
    There is one thing: In this video the entrance remained open all the time. If an activator (such as pressure pad) was attached through splitter/EB to door controller, it would close on OFF state of pressure pad (enemy either fragged or stepped off the plate).
    What I lack in current system is a negator i.e. component that would reverse the signal so that doors would close when activator is turned ON. I think it would be doable with Memory Cell, but I would have to play around a bit in order to test this.
    @edit: /facepalm I feel like an idiot. I wrote this 3 minutes into the video. You covered the topic of open entrance.

    hey i tried to make a door opener with the new RF Detonater, like if you press it one time it opens and if you press it another time it closes but i couldnt make it work. Do you found a way? :D

    I have now tried 2 timer to make this on a builder server. And for some reason it does not work for me :( The problem seems to be that the branch for some reason does not give any power out?!?!

    I have done everything over and over like 15 times and shit just doesnt work. did it with laser and the pad... Laser does all lights are on and stuff except the one branch on top of the memory cell output - power ir on the branch..

      NWM apparently lasers and pressure pads dont work today.
