@@thewindwakinghero7423 it has to do with hitstun syncing up with his ai refresh. more bees does not guarantee it will work, since toad's stategraph won't process the subsequent hit until he completes his current hit hitstun anim. the only consistent way to sync hitstuns is by using abigail, which is how I got him stuck in my other toadstool runs. the second issue is that you need to get lucky with the tree spawns, since if too many are up at once, he will end his channeling phase like normal. without persistent resets or moonglass axes, it isn't really practical for that reason as well
@@thewindwakinghero7423 start with abigail unsummoned, lure him away from the center for just under 45 seconds, panflute, summon abigail on the inside of the arena and set her to aggressive, then try to chop trees as soon as they spawn (if this takes too long, it won't work). once all 8 trees have been spawned and chopped, he should be stuck channeling until abigail either stops attacking toad or sometimes autosave lag can unstuck him. this is the most consistent setup i've found
