I can't believe it has been over a year since I played cotc, honestly, what an amazing game (at least what I played, which has until you defeat pardis) I never felt the neccesity to pay for anything and get super broken characters, I only needed to farm caits but that wasn't really a problem cause I remember beating pardis with my party at level 60 and absolutely destroying him, you don't need to farm a lot, you just need a good strat and decent levels to go from the beginning to this part of the game
And thats the right thing to do. Never use Nuts in other characters if your 1st is not at MAX. The Cait level who appears from ads is relative to the highest level character you have. In this case, it'll be relative to Sophia, so all the others will get tons of exp from Caits daily.
How are you playing this with a mouse? My main obstacle to playing this game all day is it being on my phone, putting it on my monitor would be a dream.
I'm using BlueStacks 5. To be more specific I'm the Nougat 64 Version of it with Hyper-V enabled. Its basically an Android emulator for pc. Octopath runs pretty smoothly on Bluestacks for me
Use Scrcpy, it's a program that you will connect your phone to your pc with usb then it will mirror your phone screen and you can use the mouse to play. I'm using it for epic boss battles and arena fight.
@@leoaerts2217 If you haven't cleared them yet, they should be still in the castle. Also once you fail, they gonna respawn everytime when you enter his castle. Attack order doesn't matter. As long as you beat them, they won't spawn in the King Pardis Boss Battle. In case you intend to skip all generals til you can enter the boss fight, Pardis will summon all his remaining generals at once and you'll have to beat them all together. This will be much more difficultier since Pardis's weaknesses will be probably protected by his minions.
@@yingnanwang9304 Just as said above: The generals will respawn if you have to enter the castle again. Meaning you have to beat the 3 generals before battling pardis or you have to face all 3 of them along with the boss.
I still dont get Lynette and Cyrus, and really want him since I almost dont have scholars, but got lucky with Therion (my favourite), Tressa, Lumis, Viola, Jilmeila, H'annit, Hasumi, Harley, Heathcote, Joshua, Gilderoy, Chloe, 9s, Soleil, Kouren, Nicola and Alfyn. My starter is Theon. Never spend a coin in the game.
I basically started with 5* Theo, Sofia and 4,5* Lynette with only 2 rerolls. Then I saved all rubies and used them on the previous 5 step banners for Sofia/Fiore. At the last step I got my 5* Gilderoy. Afterwards when Primrose dropped I used like 3 multi summons in her banner to get her as a 5star. And thats it.

Phase 2's counters killed my party... This boss is really hard!!!
Actually phase 2 is easier since Alaune help a lot there.

This boss can be beated easily with characters that are around above level 60. Such a grind is not needed.

First fight he didn’t summon generals. Now this asshole does. Wtf? Any idea if I can avoid him spawning them?
You have to beat the 3 elite mobs aka his generals before entering the boss fight. Otherwise you will have to fight them all at once.

I started to play 1 week ago, started as Theo, and got dupe 5* Lynette and A4 Cyrus. I hit the jackpot really hard
