    Ellis Beach sounds like a spot we would want to experience for sure 😁
    Lets be honest though we would want to visit sooo many of these beaches!
    The views at Woodgate are so beautiful 😍
    Great compilation video, this will be so helpful for visitors to prioritize which beaches are cant miss stops!

      Palm tree lined beaches are always a top choice ...plenty of them in North Queensland

    Oh my gosh Chris, you guys have so many beautiful beaches! I honestly wish we could visit them all! Would love to have a turtle hatching experience one day, they’re so cute!

      Queensland is the best state for them but unfortunately some of the northern ones are bad for crocs 🐊🐊... still plenty of great ones to check out and still surprises me how many great ones we have seen too. I love putting these lists together 💖

      The turtles are very unique and I have seen them a couple of times .... definitely one for the Bucket list 👍👍

      Whats your other 5 ?
      You came so to Cape Hillsborough when you were living at Airlie for that period.... Next time for a day trip :)

      @@AquariusTraveller Think it was Cape Radical, Yepoon, around Bundy and a couple down the Goldy.
      Perhaps Hillsborough on my journey over to the West next month. We'll see.
      Looks like I'll be hanging around here until I leave 🍻

    Beautiful and very unspoiled but any safe beaches with amenities you can actually swim in? Or should i just skip QLD altogether and go to Phuket?

    • @AquariusTraveller
      @AquariusTraveller  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Anywhere from Brisbane to Rockhampton you can pretty much swim in safely...... it's only north Queensland you have to be cautious. But reef trips there you just have to wear a lycrasuit or visit in winter when there's no stingers.....was there a particular beach you had in mind ?

      @@AquariusTraveller thanks that’s great to know, we are going to Noosa for a week in late September.

    • @AquariusTraveller
      @AquariusTraveller  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Noosa is a lovely place to swim and no issues with stingers and crocs like north Queensland 👍👍
      But there will be crowds of people there for school holidays at the end of September

      I've been to all but two of these.
      In Mackay and north the winter months are free from box jellyfish apparently. All island beaches are fine as box jellyfish and crocs hug the mainland. Winter water temps are fine.
      The main safety thing in the southern surf beaches (Coolangata to Agnes Water) is swim between lifeguard flags. A lot of tourists drown regularly outside the flags.

    • @AquariusTraveller
      @AquariusTraveller  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @phoarey yep...the winter months in North Queensland are pretty safe for swimming but the outer reef tours still make you wear a stinger suit during this time

    We call it the brisbane piss pool, have heard some pretty gross stories about that artificial beach

      😂😂...I've often heard the redcliffe settlement cove referred as that too. You hear so much as a Brissy local 👍
