Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
- Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
- Secondly, My video are transformative enough, I took the time to play the game and recording the musics. I took the time to improve it's original quality using Vegas Pro. Thanks to a program called "Track EQ" that you can find on Vegas Pro.
This program allow the user to enhance it's original quality and further improving it. This need concentration as each version has different audio quality.
- Thirdly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
- Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!

I remember playing Blue and facing Brock for the first time. My level 12 Bulbasaur versus his level 12 Geodude. My trusty grass type Pokemon managed to just barely win with Tackle, although he had the type advantage. Bulbasaur was on a sliver of health as he became level 13. What's this? A new attack? He sent out his Onix, and my trusty Pokemon proceeded to one shot him with Vine Whip. Total dominance. It was one of the most memorable gaming moments of my life.

Yep, Misty is pretty spot on lol. Upon growing up and finding out of her Johto design, I kinda got bummed we never got to see her like that in the anime. And I also got pissed off Ash never ended up with Misty when it was obvious she loved him. I was like "you f'ing looser, that girl is everybody's crush and you didn't end up with her? What gives?!"
Plus, I learned two things through the 90s: 1) never trust in your heroes blindly... they'll disappoint you eventually (freaking Ash fed me up after Hoenn). 2) red heads are the best option for a crush while growing up... minus Asuka from Evangelion lol.

The music goes for a grand appearance, as though its composer was imagining an orchestra in his mind. I think that's why I've always preferred this to any covers - the covers break the original vision that makes this music so powerful

I like how the Kanto gym leaders were incorporated into the manga. Brock, Misty, and Erika were the good gym leaders helping Red and Blue stop Team Rocket meanwhile, Koga, Surge, and Sabrina were Team Rocket's lieutenants under Giovanni. Blaine was also in Team Rocket but allied with the protagonists due to his guilt of both abusing pokemon and creating Mewtwo.

I'll disagree on you but for Gen 2 and, on technicality, the "last Pokemon" theme from Gen 5, SwSh's final mon theme and Piers' theme. That's it. As someone who followed the series since the beginning, that's it for even being considered in the same chat with Gen 1, not counting remixes, just four songs even in the same chat as this theme in over 25+ years.

Let's be real. Generation 1 had the best gym battle music hands down. I remember playing going up against brock and my God was my heart pounding during this battle. The music made it even more intense. Back then I was new and had no idea how typings worked. I figured it out and finally beat him. Best feeling in pokemon ever!

First time I ever heard this back in '98, I freaked out because this song was just _so different_ than the rest of the soundtrack. It was fantastic.
Hands down, this is the most iconic Gym Leader battle theme.
For it's time, the music in these games was outstanding and it really set the bar for Game Freak in the many games to come. Respect the first generation!

Why did it take me 27 years to realize Blaine gets thrown in there for no reason. Like each gym leader is super effective to their previous gym leader. And then there’s Blaine. But I suppose since their only weakness was bug back then it wouldn’t have worked out to be a challenging gym.
The designs of the gym leaders is pretty much like dragon ball’s
When you learn Blaine's design is the one of "Silph chief" (because in the beginning, Silph co was corrupted by Team Rocket and every time you bought something in the market, you actually financied mafia), and his actual design is the one without glasses, with military jacket and hair on the sides of his head.
Damn the old pokemon artwork looks badass!. In the new pokemon artstyle everyone has massive eyes and it looks too much like a kawaii anime.
I miss Ken Sugimori's old art style, not so keen on the current either, it lacks the character of his original artwork.

I fought Koga as soon as I got to Fuchsia city (probs spelled that wrong) and BOY was I underleved, I had a Gyarados with hyper beam, and I managed to squeeze though and then it happened.
THE WEEZING.
LEVEL 43.
I WAS AT LEVEL 32 WITH MY GYARADOS.
IT TOOK 3 HYPER BEAMS AND PURE GRIT DETERMINATION TO DEFEAT THAT THING.
Phew, that battle was intense.
makes me see how much the drawings of the characters have improved so much over the years, these look a little awkward

So here's what we get for the gen 1 gym leaders:

Difficulty rating:
Brock(7/10) - Wow, type effectiveness is hard to figure. And not only that, you use high defense high resistant rock compared to my team of tacklers most likely. Still, only a Pikachu starter makes you truly tough. Charmander's special-based attacks covers for type effectiveness, at least once I noticed Ember doing fair damage. Or raise Butterfree.
Misty(3/10) - Go Pikachu! Or anyone, really. Only if I started a new team would I find you difficult.
Surge(5/10) - Man, screw your stupid gimmick! And there's a diglett cave right outside your gym! Diglett! I mean I guess you're technically the 2nd toughest gym leader here!
Erika(4/10) - You would've been a challenge had I stuck with Pidgey as my bird pokemon and not gotten fire... Assuming there was a bigger level difference between you and Surge.
Koga (1/10) - I've beaten so many team rocket grunts and bikers! You're serious with poison type!? I was more worried about the other losers in this stupid gym!
Sabrina (5/10) - Hah! I saw the anime. Go Haunter! Wait... NO!!! Uhh, go my starter! Ok, this be difficult... if you actually hit hard. No? Just Alakazam in the end? You know I have more than 2 Pokemon in my team.
Blaine (2/10) - Uhm... I got here with Surf! You know the move? The strongest 100% accuracy water attack in gen 1? And I got a water pokemon. Kinda learned my lesson after Brock and mountaineers. What are you doing here?
Giovanni (0/10) - Weak to water because ground gym, weak to psychic because poison-based team rocket member, are you even trying? I know gym leaders are bound to the type they choose but come on!
It feels like having a rock-type first gym will forever be the height of difficulty in a pokemon adventure. I've so far completed games from gens 1,2,3 and 6. Maybe it's 5 where Pokemon normal play will actually be tough, but so far it's self-imposed challenges that give me trouble (and it's actually fun).
In Yellow, most of the gym leaders are surprisingly difficult. Koga was a huge pain with his level 50 Venenoth with psychic
crazy that theme has never been done justice in any other game, It was decent in silver but after 2nd gen pokemon games music was never the same

Though personally, I would prefer to use Erika's Pokémon.

The anime didn’t do me no justice, I saw pikachu using thunder shock on onix lol. Playing yellow as a kid battling Brock without a mankey or nidoran
