    would you need to book activities through an agency, or are you able to do it by yourself?

      I'm sure you can do some things by yourself, but it'd be much easier with an agency. It's Southeast Asia, everything is already super cheap - you won't be saving much money DIY.

    Indochina is a colonial territory occupied by the French that no longer exists. Vietnam is no longer under french colonial rule so stop using that word to describe Vietnam.

      It's a region.

      @@beforeyougotravel yes a region during the French colonial rule. Now its just Vietnam or Laos or Thailand. Same thing you cant call Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia and those countries in that region as Soviet Union.

      @beforeyougotravel  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@densakai Soviet Union was a country, it no longer exists. Indochina wasn't a country, it's always been a region. What you're thinking of is Indochina as a political entity, I'm referring to Indochina as a Region.
      According to dictionary.com: a peninsula in Southeast Asia, between the Bay of Bengal and the South China Sea, comprising Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, western Malaysia, and Myanmar (Burma).
      britannica.com: The term Indochina refers to the intermingling of Indian and Chinese influences in the culture of the region.
      worldatlas.com: The geographical term "Indochina" first originated in the early 19th century and was used to refer to the mainland region of Southeast Asia.
