BSJ - Please post this game FROM VENO's perspective and explain what he should have been doing in the first ten minutes. That would really help people understand WHY you say you have "bad lane support" when he is dealing with Phoenix during the laning phase.
Agree, would be very helpful. So far it simply seems veno wasn’t aggressive enough and wasn’t proactive with his spells for BSJ likening so Sven felt pressured. Also he allowed Phoenix to use big camp.

Sadly this is probably the player complaining its hard to climb MMR as a support while overlooking his mistakes. So many good supports these days to make real impact but he felt like a wet noodle.
I’m really into sp role, cuz when i play carry or pos 3. They don’t do what i can do so i feel a bit disappointed. However, i confirm ur words, kinda hard to climb
Herald here, these vids are great for education, the comment section is also such a great tool for picking up little snips of advice realy helps. Mmr slowly climbing but find myself always in games with at least 1 toxic player... that ruins the match and the game overall.. but i keep trying.
Punish LC in the early levels when he didn't have Press The Attack to purge Veno's Q. Maybe overtraded into phoenix when Fire Spirits was up. Weird skill build learning veno wards @ lvl3. etc
Block unblock camps and pull. LC could dispel and Phoenix prevents him from stinging them. He failed to stop Phoenix from pulling and didn't pull small himself.
tbh he didnt do that bad at early game, he skilled ward because he wanted to use a sentry to block big camp and get vision with ward also the enemy support is stronger than venom so he was getting bullied everytime he tried to pull rest of the game he was "taking" the ganks, if you look at the map everytime venom died/got ganked sven and qop were able to push a lane out and be more aggresive in their farming patterns that venom was tilted coz of lion and bsj but that doesnt take away the fact that he was forcing the ganks on him instead of his cores and the enemy team being stupid by ganking a pos 5 venom lowest net worth in the game that wont do anything later, just look at dire's heros most of them have self healing or an ability to heal teammates, enough to not be worried about a venom also if he spammed gale in LC to force him to skill his purge it couldve been easier for bsj to lane, thats the major mistake he has done in lane phase, a bigger mistake was the idea of picking venom with a sven carry (people first pick sven so i believe he picked in 2nd phase or with sven in first pick and both are bad decision)
Veno was fine. Similar MMR as BSJ so worthy of the same respect. Being a passive--aggressive, arrogant dickwad to your teammates is actually worse than criticizing them.
The only fault that was obvious to me was that he almost always had full mana, so he didn't spam or use his resources efficiently. I think he was trying to contest phoenix pulls and got over traded. Anyway, thanks for all the answers.
I'd like to see an update where if there is a lycan in game, dota loads and remembers also your lycan skin, so in case lycan in your team makes ags, you will be transformed into skin of your own lycan, not this basic blue
The video was fine but with titles like this I was really excited for and expecting a guide rather than just a replay. It is waaay harder to extract information from a replay with no commentary than it is a guided tutorial, for obvious reasons. If you are going to post videos like this please make it clear that is isn't your usual teaching content. Even if you would have just paused at certain moments in the game, did some voice over about key adjustments you made and why, would have made the video 10x better for learning.
His lane was pretty bad. If he didn't communicate with his team to stack and recover in the jungle he would've got steam rolled. Especially if he tries to fight early

Today I had a horrible support in lane too, 0 denys, barely any abilities or right clicks on enemy heroes just leaving me alone while warding and getting bounty runes and occasional pull when the lane was already right infront of our tower.
that cs at 1:06 where he pulled aggro away from tower to increase the time delay between the range creep and tower damage that he could LH in. so good and maybe that kind thing could be formalised into a system for a video sometime
he wasn't trying to "delay the time". He just wanted them outside of tower range. There was no reason to delay at all, he had all the time in the world to hit the creep. He just didn't want tower pushing the wave hard

u shouldn’t, I usually use ping and chat wheel to communicate what i’m gonna do so my team could follow up to play safe or dive tower and take objectives. If u do, u may miss some kill potentials or a chance to win.
just communicate in a simple manner... like just say go rosh, or smoke here, people in lower bracket tends to do their own thing, so they can only listen to simple commands

bsj could you enlighten me why high mmr players dont "insta use" tango when they have the opportunity and are close to 3/4 of health. There is a chance of overhealing?
I’m guessing it’s overhealing, but it’s about what you expect to be happening in the next 30 seconds or so - do you expect to be taking damage such that using your tango makes sense? Could you let natural hp regen + tower regen + flagbearer regen + any healing you or your support naturally have do work instead? Do you need to make sure each tango you have is as valuable as possible, because you have non flying courier and it’s only halfway to you with your wand recipe? Are you going to use a branch for your tango?

There is so much irony in BSJ not tread switching from agi almost the entire video when he has chastised his "at THEIR (presumably much lower MMR) bracket" pupils over not doing it.
Sometimes you have to take it into consideration whether or not you have an active source of mana for proritising this. He mostly had lion, a wand, and that greaves giving him enough sustain to keep fighting. Whereas in other games, treads switching would have more impact. I would just ignore tread switching if i have a wand or a stick vs enemy composition who mostlikely will just spam skills. Saves you the time and you would then be more focused on what you are doing (e.g last hitting creeps, microing your hero, checking out the map more actively etc).
To put it simply, you are just allowing your brain to be more focused on other things which in return can give you an edge or be more efficient in certain scenarios.
This veno prob got reported even tho he played the game n didn’t throw, he shoulda just went full toxic since he got reported n got a rapier n gave to enemy team 😂
like who? He didn't even farm that much tbh. Ended the game sub 10/minute because of the fighting. Most carries can farm reasonably well in the woods except basically antimage. Sure, it's nice you can jungle earlier and that its pretty quick. But if you don't farm fast you probably have some other useful spell to gank a lane, get a kill, then go back to farming the lane until you have the requisite items to jungle a bit faster.

Sure he didn't win lane, but it was just a regular day of a sven game, clear lane in 5 second, then clear jungle. Not even a single instance where enemy pos 5/2 comes to gank.
addressing the complaint of "useless supports, can't carry" to show that you can win even if your support is being useless, just by playing the basic fundamentals.
"I don't care about the tormentor" - this is how we know BSJ is a true pos1. This is their spirit.

you can heal that amount of hp over time if played correctly, tango is only used when youre half hp
