I love the longer videos. They are more like a TV show. I appreciate the honesty and openness even when it comes to the bad news. I mean, it wouldn't be reality otherwise. It would be a fairytale life and people may get into this lifestyle thinking it would be all cake and ice cream. The tank looks amazing. I would have my kitchen table there and eat my dinner every evening watching the fish. Not if fish was on the menu, though. Wouldn't want to make them mad and then have to go inside the tank again. Keep up the amazing job you do, Blake. I have been watching a long time and I love what you do.
The funniest thing when you were in the Aviary before you picked up the dead turtle your Ostrich was trying to get in the video the whole time behind you. It was hilarious!
@blakes exotics loving the channel homie, been subbed for over a year now.. but i have a few suggestions that we(and ours have done some Advanced research and development on): about the asian otters: you can give them things like clams and oysters from local fresh markets(the shells also contains calcium, and they wildly intices the otters to chew,and file down their claw and teeth.. another great enrichment is when you are cleaning their enclosure,place the clawms/oysters in the cravices of rocks, this technique also enriches them to forege/search and learn much more.. the females will always be slightly more dominate/bigger than your male others.. they have be that size to be able to "house" their embryos..you get a bigger male, she be scared or more anxious to either avoid him or depend herself/babies from him.. so always get a smaller male oyster... for the cranes: hes just being a butt lol.. you can clip its flight feathers,if you decide he doesnt need to escapr and fly off the property) i would advise this,unless you deem it neccassary.. hes cute by the way.. capayparas: love those guys... the quails: i love the set up and chicken set.. hopefully its rat,fox and coyote proof(we are getting closer to wetter and colder months ahead, they will to eat your birds if they are hungry enough.. im sorry about your turtle :( that sucks man...

Wouldn't it just make sense to farm the food that you need for the animals all the essential grasses herbs and stuff like that on a certain part of the property especially in Florida it will grow it all year long

I would say the head got took by turtles after death, haven't you recently had chilled weather? Maybe it got caught out in the chill, so didn't have the energy or drive to save its self.
the crane probably was either born with his wing like that, spranged or... got in a fight with something.. hell be alright.. blake has a local vet on standby ..
The Cranes wing has been pinioned, this is when the wing at the point where the primary flight feathers develop (on humans the wrist) is surgically removed when they are young, so the flight feathers can never grow so they can't fly away.
If you happen to have a snapping turtle in the pond it could have killed her by biting her head off. It happened a couple times at Keenan's. If not like you said it could be anything
