An old man here. Old atleast for nearing 49. But it sure make me proud to see a young fella like yourself being excited over the almost forgotten gems that I grew up with. I for one have been watching Eddie Romero and John Ashley movies since I was just a little kindergartner lol.
Awesome overview. Picked up the set today after talking myself out of it for weeks. I’ll check out your book once I get done with the current pile I’m reading. Keep it up!
Well, how do ya like that? This weekend I decided to do a Blood Island marathon, so it kinda led me to this video. Then I end up listening to The Tribesemen on Audible! Good stuff, man! Dig it.
I'm so glad I found your channel! This was so fun to watch, I'm looking forward to buying a few of your books! Also, when I was around five years old I owned a very obviously fake version of the Michael Myers mask (it looked like his mask in Halloween 5) and I always wore it when my cousins were over.
Thanks so much, Jake. Hope you enjoy the books if you pick’em up. And I love the mask story. I had this very gory vinyl mask (guy’s eyeballs falling out) that I was told I wasn’t allowed to show for show and tell at school.
@@AdamCesare I've just ordered Video Night and I'm already excited! That mask sounds like something you should've shown for show and tell! I love it haha.
Hey Adam! I happen to have an original polish movie poster for Ridley Scott’s Alien. It’s wild and quite hard to find now. Very intrigued about the Blood Island films, but rather disappointed that part of a trilogy won’t have its own retail release and is a box set exclusive. It hurts my OCD. Anyhow, Severin is going to get some money from me anyhow when I go wild on their back catalogue during Black Friday. If you could, would you mind sharing that recipe for the Blood Island drink? I own a variety of rums and love making tropical cocktails. It isn’t every day I try to make an official “horror movie” libation. Cheers
Away from the card but will try and give the ingredients later. I remember Blue Curaçao. Also, I checked on amazon and I think al four of the films are releasing separately. The set is great, but getting them one at a time (maybe testing the trilogy with BRIDES and going with TERROR) might be the way to go.
Terror is a Man it's a good movie for the time but Mad Doctor of Blood Island ....... it's very boring, I think it's the worst of these 4 movies ... and I hate the brutality against animals in movies It seems to me a pathetic resource when a director does not know how to generate an impact, fear in the audience..They murder 4 or 5 defenseless animals in a very curel way for nothing after a ridiculous and senseless choreography .. Brides of blood It's not a great movie, it really cost me a lot to finish them because I fell asleep several times.. I have not seen the Beast of Blood yet, I hope it is at least like terror is a man and a tag entertaining

For some reason I own a bunch of wardrobe from "Tremors 3"? Some still sticky with Graboid blood.
The holy grail.
Well first video I've seen from you. Nice and thought out. Picked up the box set. And I picked up a few of your books.
Thanks so much, Alex! Hope you enjoy both. Lemme know.

I own the "Rawhead Rex" movie poster. In the batter's box is my first Adam Cesare novel- Video Night. I'm sure I'll like it.
I really hope you enjoy, Scott. And thanks for picking it up!
