My brother bought a brand new base Tradesman in 2020 that was 4x4 with a V8, crew cab and bed liner for around $31k or $32k after taxes. MSRP was in the low $40k range. Around that time, I also had bought a brand new Silverado LT 4x4 with a V8, Z71, crew and with other options around that time with a MSRP around the low $50k range for roughly $42k after taxes.

Don't forget, the F150 XL/XLT trims with the 3.3L base engine and the base axles (3.55 ratio) is also a 5k towing full size. You get 8200lbs if you upgrade the axles to 3.73, but I bet there are alot of guys out there driving F150s that don't tow as much as they think they can. Even worse, the Ford costs more for that 5k towing than this RAM! In fact, the 2019 and older ones only got to (I think 7400lbs) with the axle upgrade, so older 3.3L F150 XLs can be outmatched by the Ranger even with the better axles.

Out the door twenty eight thousand. Still have it but honestly for the price of that ram over 25 years later pretty reasonable considering. Good purchase just wish you could get those with a couple off road goodies. Interested to see what the 3.6 is capable of. Looks like you could drop a bottle of washer fluid in front of the motor and watch it hit the concrete 😅. Looks like a decent purchase though compared to a $60,000 dollar truck. Can't wait to see more of this truck 👍

Awesome video. I like that you show barebones trucks and expensive ones too.

Ordered my new Rubicon Diesel here back in February - cheapest in the NATION - 8% below dealer invoice! See my bud Kent Shurtleff and tell him Doug from Florida sent you... We picked it up in July and made a nice little vacation of the drive back 🏡
