Today I decided to recover this broken Diesel Engine R180 (8HP), D8. Why restore this old and rusty 4-stroke engine and not another
- Because it consumes less material than a specific gasoline engine: the compression ratio of a diesel engine is 17, much higher than a gasoline engine (from 9 to 13). Therefore, the diesel engine technology and materials are higher to ensure durability and reduce wear.
