I've seen Phish in 8 different states & have seen over 40 shows....nothing compared to some with over a 100..but yeah.. This is THE BEST SET EVER from them.. Never miss a Sunday Show !!! 🐟
@@jerryslostfinger766 I unfortunately had to miss the shows due to my bf’s festival Hippie Hill at Bill Monroe Park which our festival was set before Phish sooo… I’ll catch them this fall !!! I hope you went and danced your ass off !!! Come to Hippie Hill next yr and have some serious fun ! Phree from Bloomington usually plays along with so many great bands!! My face usually hurts within a few mins of being there from smiling so much …. 🐟😎⚡️🌸🕊️💃🏼
This is the type of show that keeps me coming. The risk taking by throwing themselves into the unknown is where the magic happens. It’s living in surrender to the flow and taking it for a ride. These moments are what make our existence so special in my mind.
Whenever Fish isn’t playing he is looking around giggling just pouring out fun energy. Then when the stick hits skin he is all business. During the beginning of waste he looks spun af, Trey is using an interesting effect and Fish is digging it. Great video, that was a really fun show I remember loving it in the moment but then peoples opinions made me double think it. Now that I see it again, it’s one for the books, that whole run was a special one.
These 3 were my first Phish shows also. I was only supposed to be there Friday but my bag with all my belongings got locked into a friend's car and was forced to stay for the weekend. I'm so glad I did because this show was amazing. As some old wizard on lot said, "Never miss a Sunday show".
@@matt7500 man.it was an experience i'll never forget!so glad we had that 2gether,yet separately.also made the next Sunday,i used that line myself, told my BF i couldn't miss a Sunday show!totally worked!
I’m an old dude, living overseas, and missing seeing live music, especially Phish. That said, I’m all sorts of stoked for you. My brother was at these shows, and was rightly raving about them. It’s great to know that these guys are still doing it proper, especially for new phans like yourself. My first show was in 94, Sunrise, FL and the last 2 were in Alpharetta in 2016. I wish you many magnificent shows and a life full of musical adventures. Boogie on. Much love from Saigon.
If you get a chance, get your hands on some old bootlegs from the late 80's. Trey may have been unpolished in those days but his finger dexterity was incredible. I hate to sound like a "back in my day" kind of guy (that era was actually before my day) but it is maybe the most interesting (at least for me) to listen to. There is an excitement in those old boots, also, as they were playing in relatively small venues and there was a sense that they were up-and-coming and fresh. Then the mid-90's was they sort of hit their stride and started filling venues like MSG. if you are catching the Phish bug, that pre-hiatus Phistory is must know. Anyway, glad you dug the shows! They're one of the great jam rock bands of all time
@@thealaskapicker8628 will do man.love Trey, saw him first at spec. Im getting older.Never really got into it 2 deep, but seeing that shit live!it was amazing!!thanks 4 the info.
Thank you so much!! This was such a blast DC N3! We were a couple rows behind the pit. I am thinking this mashup seems like it could have been a Get More Down prelude. What a fun night!!
Holy Moly! Thanks so much for this! Didn't plan on seeing them but in true phashion we did anyway. The madness of this set was worth the 10+ hour round trip!
Thank you for sharing this my friend. You have once again achieved what you explain on your "About" page... The world needs more like you. Thanks for sharing. Peace
i love how Fishman just looks at Trey during 20 years later like "yea i forgot how this one goes lol" and Trey just looks back and laughs with him lol 34:30
I adore Phish, and it saddens me so much that Deer Creek is the same creek they found Abby and Libby deceased next to. I pray for their families and that we get justice for them.
Jk… in this set, every era, and album , ever performed at Dear Creek, was represented. Maybe every song…. That was special. This venue is like a home to me and Phish.

I hope you were at this weekends run. Second set Sunday was amazing. But the whole run was awesome.

Thank you for sharing this. What a night.
Jukebox phish. Weird on paper but I would have loved to have been there!
Jukebox Phish was night 2. This was not a jukebox. This was a swirling primordial ooze that songs just emerged out of in the middle of this set.
Hey brotha !!
Long live the mighty "Phish"...

Whoa. Appreciated

Yes, I was nestled in behind the tapers section.
