When a pool of likely voters in Israel were nudged to trade in either Israeli or Palestinian stocks prior to the 2015 election, an interesting thing happened. Newly awakened to the broader economic costs of conflict to society, Associate Professor Saumitra Jha found they quickly shifted their political support to candidates who favored peace talks.
