Deeper voice, and the fact she plays sax, gives a maturer presence, though it does sacrifice the teeny-bopper silliness and touching, puppy-love of Linda Scott's original (brilliantly represented in the sugary colors and chintzy set of Lynch's film). Both song versions are delightful

However I have a pretty low voice that does not allow me to sing or sound like her.
