Best Track EVER(you need to get on more albums, you deserve the attention, your one of my favorite artists/inspirations) Also I like the lead during the drop :D
I only ever organized projects when I prepared them to be viewed by other people. Not just in play throughs, but actually having people have access directly to the project. Once selling FLPs stopped being a thing, that's also when I stopped giving a damn about organizing ;p
basically, those sounds are fm synths, which stands for Frequency Modulation. When you set up an FM, typically with sytrus or FM8, you set up the modulation based on an X- Y- graph. Automating, or modulating, the values of X and Y change the sound. To do that, you essentially create a master X- Y- on the main operator of sytrus, and that gets you the sound you're asking about. I would look up some of seamless's earlier how to bass videos for more detailed explanations.
Wow! Seamless! I bow to you sir! The underrated legend is what they should call you! You should submit some of your productions to EDM.com (Dubstep.NET, Electro.NET, etc) on soundcloud! They'll get a a lot of recognition in the "production" scene.
Turns out there's another Seamless that does electronic music that's been around longer than I :] I still refer to myself as Seamless but I'm "officially" SeamlessR.
at 2min i find my self actually enjoying this, not saying the others are bad bro just they had that way to busy sound all over the place but this track is solid. and the elements are seamless for sure but lets say mature production. i wouldn't be a sub if i was a troll just hearing more and more of a mature producer grow with every track. +like
I bought this now. I know it's not for much, but i gave up 10 $ for this! I'm gonna study this and see if I can do the same in ableton. Thanks for doing what you are doing man.
wauw you are the best. what a Sounds.... I was watching your tutorials. but i don't get those sounds the correc way. Amazing keep going withe that good work
Amazing song! I would love to play it on a club system. A pitty the bar just before the drops makes it impossible to mix it with other tunes that are in a strict 16 bar system. Is there any reason you don't make them mixable, or just because you felt it should sound that way?
People say that he should be on Monstercat or some kind of label, but if he did that the label wouldn't be very happy if he showed his fans all of the song's interior workings. Seamless could easily get onto a label if he wanted to though:)
Seamless- I have been making music in FL for a year, and I have gotten fairly good at making songs. However, I can't figure out how you put together such a great atmosphere in yours! Like, the whole thing is continuous, the drops hit harder because of the intros/ verses, and everything is much more intense than what I have made. Do you have any pointers on making such an intense atmosphere?
Is there a tutorial on the 1/4 note bass that you have bounced to audio in your drop? It reminds me of something I heard in power glove and I would love to be able to play with the concept.
Have you ever ran into the problem where you run out of room on the mixer? If so what do you do? Considering there are only 90 or so channels. :) By The Way Check Out FolsomCate on Soundcloud! thanks seamless
Thats the shitty part of the internet. Every garage band posts their awesome name rendering it unusable by other, more talented artists. Kind of a dick thing to say, but its true. Rock on Seamless
Your drop arrangements get better with every tune, I'm really diggin' this one.
I think I'm in love with that orange bass.
I'd love to know how to make a growl that filthy!
Michael64099 cover it in mud
:D
marley campbell
I will use this method.
its an FM Patch, that's why its so awesome
The orange gives it power.
Stop being so awesome. You're making it really hard for the rest of us.
Best Track EVER(you need to get on more albums, you deserve the attention, your one of my favorite artists/inspirations) Also I like the lead during the drop :D
you think this is good
go listen to "Codename: Hurricane"
i love that too, but calibrate is my personal favorite :D
I'll agree with everyone else praising you. You are the man. Thank you for the tutorials, thank you for music, thank you for inspiration.
Thanks for your support :D
This has to be my favorite track from the EDM spotlight! Keep up the great work man!
Back when seamless organized somewhat
I only ever organized projects when I prepared them to be viewed by other people. Not just in play throughs, but actually having people have access directly to the project. Once selling FLPs stopped being a thing, that's also when I stopped giving a damn about organizing ;p
I can't describe how badass coloring that bass black is.
2:06-2:38 just feels so good on my ears, that reese, that perfect god damn mixdown. omg.
This is by far the best song I have ever heard. I had to rethink what i call a drop... then twice more before the song was over.
Damn Seamless, those lines...automation clips...you are so awesome, keep up w/ the great work, you inspire many producers :)
I love that reese into the song, and Growls.
Can't wait to hear it on the EDM spotlight, dude!
Wow. This is the first I've heard of your stuff. But holy shit. Keep up the good work, man. You're going places.
Loving the dark reddish-brown bass.
Sir. YOU ARE A GOD O.O You have officially inspired me to pick up making electronic music again.
4 years later. How's it going man?
Man, your productions just keep going up and up. Great job dude!
That was so sick dude, awesome job!

Probably the sickest track you've released IMO
Holy shit this one of the most heaviest electro drops you have made sick! :)

Отличная работа! Грамотная музыка!
at 2min i find my self actually enjoying this, not saying the others are bad bro just they had that way to busy sound all over the place but this track is solid. and the elements are seamless for sure but lets say mature production. i wouldn't be a sub if i was a troll just hearing more and more of a mature producer grow with every track. +like

I bought this now. I know it's not for much, but i gave up 10 $ for this! I'm gonna study this and see if I can do the same in ableton. Thanks for doing what you are doing man.
somehow ho made that extremely simple drop (like something I would make (: ) sound really good. I really like this song.
wauw you are the best. what a Sounds.... I was watching your tutorials. but i don't get those sounds the correc way. Amazing keep going withe that good work

You're awesome, man!

ye
loved the diminished chords =)
This is the new bass antics, at least in my world :)
Hey, Seamless! I was wondering about a mashup of this and Bass Antics! I would be more than happy to do so!
it's a recording glitch with xsplit. Some color that it doesn't like.

So far one of the hardest Complextro this year
great song! i do like your tutorial so much hope someday ill be doing stuff like this :D
reminds me of Infected mushroom at 1:05. Awesome.
Sickness!
I generally do not consider much beyond how I feel it should sound at the time.
People say that he should be on Monstercat or some kind of label, but if he did that the label wouldn't be very happy if he showed his fans all of the song's interior workings. Seamless could easily get onto a label if he wanted to though:)
He does. Look at his other videos!
man you need to do more remixs to song but man you are AMAZING!

why are you so good? like seriously..
Varien does that on his channel, VarienOfficial. I don't think they'd mind Seamless doing that.
Is there a tutorial on the 1/4 note bass that you have bounced to audio in your drop? It reminds me of something I heard in power glove and I would love to be able to play with the concept.
GENIUS!!!!
Pretty sure it's a recording artifact from his streaming program, I've seen it in a couple of his other videos.
big track!!
Nice seamless
omg seamless, please make a how to on the yellow knife party synths, i will love you for ever if you do
this one is huge.

This ... is ... AWESOME!! :D
I got this song on soundcloud for free just saying.....grate job on this track!
plz, how that yellow "whoop" in the drop was made? Fucking in love, cuz I found it in Black Magic from Savant's The Alchemist!
The automation clips you use for Altering the drop growls and FM bass etc, is there any indepth tutorials in the creation of them?
Amazing production, as always! How did you make the LFO lead in the drop? :)
Amazing man.. gezus..
master of Vocadex, Hamour and Sytrus (Y) very creative with automations :p
Gat damn. Ur the God of dubstep
Is the orange automation bass the bass u demonstrated in the squelchiest fm video?
reminds me alot of KOAN.. amazing job!
nice music
love it
Seamless if I want to make an automation clip to for instance increase or decrease the pluck of an instrument, how can I achieve that?
Monstercat now! seamlessR, now!

Have you ever ran into the problem where you run out of room on the mixer? If so what do you do? Considering there are only 90 or so channels. :)
By The Way Check Out FolsomCate on Soundcloud!

TEACH ME YOUR WAYS SEAMLESS
Holy shit :o What about those patterns you named "arp" those sounds like some sequencers, u have done those yourself or how, thx if u answer :D
Thats the shitty part of the internet. Every garage band posts their awesome name rendering it unusable by other, more talented artists.
Kind of a dick thing to say, but its true.
Rock on Seamless
This one was a bit of an outlier in terms of hours worked :p I usually average around 30 hours.
