They went the local PD that night and the supervisor told them the ticket would be dismissed. But later his license got suspended due to an unpaid fine from this ticket. Now his lawyer had paid for it because otherwise, it had to go through a trial to get his license active again, the cops were really asshole.

I pulled up to my house and quickly went inside before the cop pulled up. When he knocked on the door I didn't answer. Even though he never made contact he wrote me a ticket and sent it in the mail. I stupidly paid it but knowing what I know now I easily could have fought it in court and got it dropped as there was no evidence it was actually me driving.

The worst part about the cop saying you need a CA drivers license to drive in CA is wrong, even without it being international. States have to acknowledge other states. So if a 14 year old from Montana has a driver's license, he can drive in any other state despite their age limits. If you have any states drivers license, you can drive anywhere. So his statement there is just wrong, regardless of him being international.

Got arrested for his attitude. Any misdemeanor can end you up in jail. Cops just usually don't unless you have warrants or are a public safety hazard....or if you're a wannabe lawyer giving attitude on a busy Vegas freeway. Take the ticket and fight it later. Getting in a dick comparison contest with a cop over a minor traffic ticket is a lose-lose situation. They don't care to hear you tell them how to do their job. If they're wrong fight it in court. Patrolman was not wrong in this case.

@skank hunt because he took a plea instead of fighting it. Cops will fight hard af to keep themselves looking clean so if you try fighting it you end up paying thousands in court costs....most of the time its just cheaper to plea if you have the money for it anyways.
