    I've read the word "sin" in it's original meaning meant literally to pick up a bow and arrow and shoot at a target and miss. Was Jesus's death meant to teach us the ultimate sin is dying? Like he chided the apostles for not walking on water, not raising the dead, not being able to feed the 5000 with just a load of bread and a few fish . . . Is this what is meant by him dying for our sins to show us how to master even death that he loved us so much he even made a spectacle of the whole thing to show the way for us all to stop missing the target. Yet, how can we hit the target if we don't pick up the bow and arrow and sin over and over again until we finally are skilled. Yet, even the best archer doesn't hit the target every time.

      @@robertgraham5619 hello again! Thanks for your comment. One of the Hebrew words for sin is missing the mark, yes. I don't think the ultimate sin is dying. Dying is part of the human condition in the fallen world as a result of sin.
