- I tried around 20 times to do this easteregg solo. Yeah. It wasn't kind to me, but I finally did it! Thought I'd record it as well just in case people either haven't seen it or just want to watch this instead of the cutscene as a whole.

Who would've guessed that a simple zombie boss back in 2013 would be given such a fleshed out backstory? It's amazing what Treyarch can do with such a simple game play mechanic, props to them for giving Brutus so much character development.

We can see where they put their efforts in just look at bo3 campaing and Bo4 if there was any.
And yet they couldn't put effort into making bo3's campaign. Why name it bo3 if the campaign was a different timeline and story? Or what about cod ghosts multiplayer? Or advanced warfare zombies, if you can even call it that?

If you think Brutus's backstory is amazing, then I'm about to fucking blow your mind. Every map, every character in the Black Ops series since BO1 has a backstory and a perfect fit into the story line. I suggest you watch BlackOpsAmazing on youtube. He has explained the full zombies storyline up until Black Ops 3. It's confusing but amazing at the same time.

Story wise this easter egg was phenomenal however what brings it down is the shield is required for literally every step
Brutus said their hearts would be the engines in his machine and now black ops cold war zombies first map is called die maschine(the machine). Coincidence maybe but with treyarch who knows for sure.
I think the machine is just a reference to the machine the Soviets are using to harness the power of the dark aether

I think the story that’s been told over the past 10 or so years is over. There might be references to the dark server, but I doubt we’ll see much of anything from this story.

I tried 20+ times to get it solo. It's entirely legit. At the time of this recording, November 2018, I don't even know if the invincibility glitch was even discovered or in the game.
@@giosabozo if you are able to do Gorod solo, then Blood is perfectly possible. They have very similar formats and are almost identical difficulty wise. I completed it for the first time on Solo, and it only took me 3-4 attempts. Don’t give up; you *can* do it! 😁

Yes, brutus's goal was to use the 115 infused in the four primis's blood to open a portal, much like they did with richtofen's blood. This portal would let all the apothicons enter our reality.

When he says “you will not die” he is referring to within his cycle but obviously Richthofen died right after they ended the cycle as signified by all the zombies souls being released
@Halsten okay coming back to it a few months later i suppose it does wrap up a few loose ends, though there's still some plot holes that annoy me. also evident budget cuts. i can't be bothered to write an essay explaining all of it though lol.

The first time I did this he came right up to my cage and I was just in such awe what an amazing Easter egg
judgung from the looks were on the third floor from the cerberus near the cherry cola and a few clicks to the gondola
Its definitely a under rated ending it was so good

The only thing i hated from Blood of the Dead was the lack of references about the original crew from Mob of the Dead and the mysterious connection between Primis Nikolai and Weasel that was totally abandoned.
Personally I love this cutscene so much story is given in the scene alone not just Brutus or the main cast but the future of the storyline as a whole

I did, it's one of my favourite maps! And yeah, I'm glad Brutus came back and had a big part in the story (for BOTD at least), I thought he was a good mini-boss :)

The ghosts that help take out brutus at the end are sal, finn, and Billy. The bird ghost is weasel. Pretty sure the canon ending involves weasel killing them and they break the cycle.

He meant The apothicons he worships the shadowman. Richtofens blood would be used to open a gateway to the dark aether so the apothicons could be freed. Sadly for him we purged him and the prison from existence

Gotta respect Brutus 10/10 zombie boss. Given the fact mob of the dead was the first zombies map I have played it always brings memories and ptsd hearing his footsteps and loud voice accompanied with the screen shaking. Always terrifying on solo
I swear too many people hate on BOTD for it either being too difficult of an Easter Egg, the steps being annoying and other stuff but I personally find this to be my favorite map from BO4, Mob was already my favorite alongside Origins so seeing the Primis Crew on Mob with this map was so exhilarating. I just completed this EE solo the other day and man was I satisfied, personally the EE isn’t as difficult as people made it out to be but rather some steps are just REALLY tedious and annoying, all in all I really love this man and people can say what they like but I really love the lore this map brought to the story, sure BO4’s ending is hailed as a bad one but I think it was fitting and a decent ending since it ended the story properly and with good reason aka them all being stuck in an infinite loop with the only solution being death to themselves.

I never bothered looking at a single easter egg in Bo4 other than Classified, this is really cool and I wish that Blood of the Dead wasn't such a shitty map, if it were good I probably would've spent the time to do the easter egg on it.

When I got to this part, a guy in my group lagged out 💀 I felt so bad for him.
Why do people hate bo4 man? Blood was much much much better than mob and had a better story. Mob was just some about some throwaway characters escaping alcatraz. Yeah, they were based off of a historical event but it didn't mean much for the story. Alcatraz does have significance to the story but the characters have barely anything to show storywise. I care about the story a lot and am not one of those people who go "why does zombies need dimensions omg its so bad now" because i actually bothered to get off my ass and commit to learning it. Bo4 focused on story alot and got a lot of story in.
Story: phenomenal!
Gameplay: great!
Characters: enjoyable!
Dialogue: interesting!
Maps: expansive and a blast!
Soundtrack: stupendous!
Bo4 i think is on par with bo3 and no matter how much people argue, wont change my pov on that.
Now, i know i might have enraged a lot of people so to you who are angry,

i dont agree botd is better gameplaywise than motd but it does have a better story (the best story out of any map), people just forget that even tho these maps take place in the same area the maps play completely different and serve different purposes. botd is a gem and people hate on it for no reason. just like the whole of bo4
