I recently watched your video where you discussed the process of addressing issues with builders or promoters before approaching RERA. You mentioned that builders/promoters have an escalation team in place to resolve matters mutually.
Unfortunately, I didn't catch the name of that escalation team you referred to. Could you please recall and share the name of this team or provide additional details about how to get in touch with them?
Understanding this process and having access to the right team is crucial for resolving issues efficiently and effectively. Your guidance has been extremely helpful in navigating these matters, and any additional information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your continued support and informative content.

Thank you for watching my video! The team I mentioned is typically called the Customer Relations Team or Customer Grievance Redressal Team. You can find their contact details on the builder’s website or in your sale agreement documents.
      To get in touch:
      1. Submit a Complaint: Email them a detailed complaint with your concerns and desired resolution.
      2. Follow Up: If there's no response, follow up with a call or another email.
If the issue isn't resolved, you can proceed to file a complaint with MahaRERA. Hope this helps!

Yes, you can file a complaint with RERA if there's clear evidence that the builder won’t complete the project on time, even before the official RERA completion date. Make sure to gather any proof of the delay and submit it along with your complaint. For more clarity, do check out the full playlist for detailed insights!

I understand the advice against posting on social media, but it's often the only platform where we can freely express our experiences, whether positive or negative. When a buyer encounters issues with a property purchase, the first step is to communicate directly with the promoter. However, if the promoter is unresponsive and attempts to reach out to RERA via email go unanswered, what else can a user do?
Social media becomes a vital tool for raising awareness and seeking accountability. Many buyers aren't fully aware of the complaint filing process with RERA, and without proper guidance or response from authorities, social media provides a public avenue to share experiences and seek support from others in similar situations.
It's essential for platforms like RERA to improve their responsiveness and for promoters to maintain open lines of communication to prevent such frustrations from escalating to public forums.

I the video you mentioned that an agent, developer, or buyer can file a complaint. However, I am a family member and the flat is not in my name. Can I file a complaint without the involvement of the buyer?

Thank you for your question! Generally, only the registered buyer can file a complaint with MahaRERA. However, for specific legal advice tailored to your situation, it's best to consult with a legal advocate who can guide you appropriately.

Hi Onkareshwar, yes, you can file a complaint with RERA for delayed possession beyond the agreed date. As per RERA regulations, the builder is liable to pay interest for any delay in possession. However, even if the bank delays the disbursement, you are still responsible for paying interest as per the agreement. It’s important to stay vigilant about payment timelines.
