Hi Jimmy this is Kokogatami bud !! i invented this move back in 1978 ,used it in the british trials dec 78 now adopted by the Japanese association and in the kodokan list of new teqneques UKIGATAMI also neil eckersly started using it a few years later and took a bronze in the 84 los angles Olympics regards nick kokotaylo. Ps only one thing incorrect with your demo! The left knee when you come up pushes onto the side of the head to deliver more control in the pin on uki !!
I’m sorry but your incorrect. Both Jimmy and I have used this technique to win multiple matches throughout our career. And he is teaching from The American Judo System which is our style of judo. This get adopted and changed over time. Just like my Ippon Seoi Nage is not incorrect even though it is different than how the Kodokan teaches and demos it.
