- Command block tutorial where I teach you how to create your own custom commands, and more specifically commands that you would see on any faction server and servers in general, in the video I show you how to make /hub, /set home, /home, /perk haste, /survival, /creative, /nv, and /help. they are custom commands that also include ranks so you can adjust which players can and cannot use specific commands, for example, /nv which is night vision is for VIP and above, using these systems you can create an entire list of different commands, you can make up your own or you can just follow this tutorial and make the commands listed.

this command is a bit more advanced and the video was not meant to be followed block for block line for line, meaning I did not explain everything you need to know the basics. also, I just revisited the world and it works, just make sure the tickdelays are set for your system some phones may need longer delays for all commands, same for xbox PS4 and PC

Anyone else having problems where the command to tp with /hub only works when you’re in a certain radius of the command block
Can you make a command that makes rainbow armor?
What I mean is that dyed armor changes the color over and over in rainbow colors.
I was just thinking that it would be cool to have.

Sadly, you cannot give yourself dyed leather armor on bedrock due to it being a NBT value. However, you can alternate armor pieces (leather chain gold etc) with this

With /home, it can't teleport me when I'm in the overworld, only in the end, I'm certain I put the command right.
home teleport you to then end then teleports you to the portal in the end to then send you back home
@@MrJCraft yeah I figured out in need a loader in the end, but now the 2nd command block doesn't work

@@jakewelk2373 You have to make a ticking area in the end containing both the command block and the armor stand.

I would need more specifics, but it was not meant to be an input to input tutorial, meaning this is an intermediate tutorial and you need to know the basics or at least it is recommended. so you may not be able to help you completely, but I will do what I can, so first, off I will need more specifics.
I followed the instructions exactly as said in the video but with the first one (the one where it gives the book) it spams it in the chat is there a way to fix this without changing the ticking delay?
If I did a command for /v would it test from a rank scoreboard or a money scoreboard? Amazing vid btw.
you have to specify which one you are testing, I should be doing a video specifically on scoreboards soon because of the shop command tutorial I am doing. but first I am doing a odd tutorial no one will probably watch.
@@MrJCraft I was going to test a ranking system so if you were rank 5+ you could use /v to go invisible if you are an administrator with rank 5 or above
@@masterblock10 yeah you would need to set up a scoreboard for that, so you would need to make a rank scoreboard then if you want money but that is a separate system, then when you are testing the players tank you specify which scoreboard group you want to test specifically for.
when i do the /home command it doesnt work i have tickingareas in the end and where the other command blocks are, but the second command block says "Failed to execute 'teleport' as Home"

I’ve been trying to get this/hub command typed in for like three hours now and I’m starting to give up because I know I’m typing it right and it’s just not working I don’t know what to do I have it on repeat and unconditional and needs Redstone and there’s a Redstone block behind it typing in/hub and it does nothing when I throw it but it pops up on the side the command when I throw it but it’s just not teleporting me at all not even moving me an inch just keeping me exactly where I am 😞 but I got the second block working the one that keeps it in your inventory but still it’s pointless

yes, just spawn in an entity into the door, make sure it is large enough to go through both sides, and also make sure it is invisible and also very low on health, then when you hit the door/entity it will die, just make some commands to test to see if it is alive if so doors closed, when it is dead doors open, then it will respawn a new entity after some amount of time has gone by. that is just one option there are some others as well. but that is the one I believe is most true to what your were asking.

The /set home doesn't work for me at all it does is deletes the book and I didn't have any mess ups in the commands so what do I do?

hey so I have a question on the chain command block that that teleport the player two blocks down I'm getting a " Failed to execute 'teleport' as Home, Home" when previously it was working correctly. Ayv3nplay _Z did you do like @s or @p then [type=]? That Is because @s and @p are player-only. @e Is for all entities, @p is for players, @s is for yourself, @r is for a random player.

My UI doesn't look like that for the command blocks. Is this due to an update or do you have a resource pack on? Currently running 1.16
please do a working money system. Where you can see your money on the side and buy items from a shop and it subtracts the correct amount of money.
I have been wanting to do that but unsure when, I have been thinking about making a series of videos to get the basics down, however all of it is up in the air at the moment, and I am unsure of exactly what to do, but either way you will get some content that you should enjoy.

I’ve copied the commands to the letter and even experimented lots of different combinations but cannot get the /home to tp me to the armor stand in the end. Also won’t tp 2 blocks below the armor stand
that's your problem, its not meant to be copied.
Is there a limit? Like can you still do it 5000 blocks away

wouldn't naming the book /spawn (or any command) be the same as naming an item in an anvil ?? if so that means some people can use commands that you would want them to use if you get what I mean.
naming a book uses no experience, making it very convienient for survival. using a anvil does not take much but either they wont be able to get to spawn or there base until they have exp ehich is bad hard when you just died, or of you want to get to the shop of the factions world. if you give the player a certain amount of exp when the spawn back in I am sure it could be exploited.

@@berealves2884 I would recommend to just use the fill command either by the cylinder set up, or just with a normal fill command. or use a teleport command, there are many different ways. one which is mentioned in skippy6's video we did with the admin room command, you can reverse it and make a barrier.

Why do you have to kill the item im making an rpg and im trying to make the hub easily accessible
Because if the chunk is no longer loaded, you wouldn't be able to get the item to be TP'd to the player. And since all the floating, stray command books could build up and cause item generated lag, that's an issue. So, it's easier and smarter to destroy the book soon as it's thrown and the commands fire.
I've followed you commands exact doubled and triple checked them I cant teleport to the end for some reason in the overworld
might be a ticking area thing. and the video is more of a demonstration on exact.

Uh, anyone else having issues with teleporting to the end? I copied the command word-for-word and I just sit there looking like a moron waiting for a command block to do something and it does nothing.
Ah, I figured it out- added a ticking area to the armor_stand inside of the end. The ticking area tells them game to "always load" the armor stand, even when it's not in sight (obviously because I'm not in the end). Once the game knows to load the armor stand because of the ticking area around it, my character, and thus command block, can find the armor stand and teleport me to it.
It doesnt go to end so i have to kill dragon
