@@dxw4202 watch a tutorial on how to execute a line of commands when dropping named items. make it add a tag to the player when you drop the item you got from the crate, then make a particle summoner that filters players by people who have the tag

Im having a bit of a problem. The clear command is not working every time I try to take the glass out to test it. The glass does not clear from my inventory. And also I typed in the chain command block just as you did it and Its not cloning when I t

When you put the key in, there is a split second where you can take it out and still get the reward. Do you know how to make the system fast enough to make it so they cant take it out and still get the reward
theres a way better system for this, his is just longer and easy to bug
if oyu have this problem:
execute @a[tag=crate, c=1, scores={crate=1}] ~ ~ ~ clone (the chest reward) (your chest)
then here is a list
1.
execute @a[tag=crate, c=1, scores={crate=1}] ~ ~ ~ clone (the chest reward) (your chest)
change that to:
execute as @a[tag=crate,scores={crate=1..1}] at @s run clone (the chest reward) (your chest)
2.
execute @a[tag=crate, c=1, scores={crate=2}] ~ ~ ~ clone (the chest reward) (your chest)
change that to:
execute as @a[tag=crate,scores={crate=2..}] at @s run clone (the chest reward) (your chest)
3.
execute @a[tag=crate, c=1, scores={crate=3}] ~ ~ ~ clone (the chest reward) (your chest)
change that to:

How can i use the testforblock in java with execute like you used it?
Haven't watched the whole thing, but already impressed and curious. Does this work well on actuall servers? cuz wat if you put a crate ket in there and then right before you opened it again someone else opened it, can they take your items
Yeah, only issue is that other people can access it. Maybe you can set up a warp system so that only one person is allowed in the crate room at once for example. This would then bypass this issue! :)

With the /execute commands that will clone your reward chest it keeps giving me the error “No targets matched selector” and the main chest will just disappear. Anyone have any advice I’m making this on my realm and don’t know what to do 😞

Make sure you have “r=10” if you don’t it will test for people with stained glass panes ALL AROUND the Minecraft world. Which will cause a lot of lag and won’t power the comparator
Says “Failed to execute ‘clone’ as (my username)” in the command blocks with the execute commands. The crate just disappears instead of getting replaced by the rewards. Or it says “1 blocked cloned” and it turns to air. All the cords are right so I’m confused. Any help?

@@baylin1774 yeah I think it was the cords or something make sure to not use tildas (these things ~)
wish there was a system to obtain the keys. for example mining you have a chance to get one for every block you mine higher rarity = less chance of getting. otherwise its really cool
I might make an updated crate system with something like this implemented sometime. :)

Make a scoreboard with any name
Repeating always active:
Execute @e[name=coal] ~~~ scoreboard players add @p 1
Repeating always active:
Execute @e[name=diamond] ~~~ scoreboard players remove @p 1
Repeating always active:
Execute @a[scores={=10}] ~~~ give @s
Or if you want it to be a custom name use the structure loading way.
Chain conditional always active connecting to the previous command block:
Scoreboard players set @a[scores={=10] 0
So what this system is doing is testing for a coal ore, and adding 1 to the nearest player. Same with a diamond but removing 1 instead. If it tests for someone with the score of 10, it'll give them the chosen item then reset their score
I have followed this step for step applying my own cords and nothing works. Doesn’t detect the keys in the chests just clones it all the time. And my commands keep becoming #
Make sure that your command blocks are set to the right properties! (Such as conditional, needs redstone, etc)

Use this “§” symbol with a number/letter after it. e.g. "§4” makes the colour of the text dark red.
The Clone chest to other place or where your actual chest is isnt working

I figured it out. It is simply giving the pulse saying that the chests don’t match. Once they do match it will emit a comparator pulse!

The red stone comparator is not setting off when the /testforblocks go’s off
i have the same problem but solve it like replacing the comparator to a new one. kinda just replace it with new comparator. then magically work . lol. but thats for me . idk if its work for you too
This will happen if the command block isn’t set up with the “r=“ command. This makes it very buggy since it isn’t testing for players within a range of ten, but it is testing for players ALL AEOUND YOUR WORLD!!!

You need the resource pack if you want the glass panes to look 2D.

Hey! I have a question: Are you able to make a crate that has a harder chance of "spawning"?
If you make more rewards there are smaller chances to get a certainreward

You can make 2 of the same chest and one of the more rare one
so.. you can make it to random a score using scoreboard players random

no there no fix
It is an issue with a miss type or choosing the wrong command block properties. Be sure to check if they are conditional and make sure the reset commands are perfect!

The capital letters are because they need to be your coördinates
