I love this tutorial! I was at a loss to find book corner protectors , untill I saw your video! Thanks so much for this wonderful idea, Tinne! ~ Janet in Canada
This makes crafting a whole lot more fun! Seeing you do this it inspires me how I can make faux metal label holders as well. My crafting world is opening up. Thank you so much!
BRILLIANT!! Love your style, and this is a great way to save money on crafting supplies. I was thinking that if you left the large triangles attached, you could overlap them for gluing to make the corner stay square. It would save a step. You could also use the tiny triangle to glue the edges (the thickness of the book edge) together. I also agree that painting before cutting would be a bit simpler -- then just ink the edges to cover the color of the paper. THANKS for sharing!!
Thank you so much for sharing, I think I will try this with a piece from a soda can, and try to emboss it too, but now I know how to draw it, thank you!
You are a life saver! I've looked in every arts and crafts stores in my area and none have book corner protectors! I guess now I can just make my own! Thank you!
You’re the best!! 💕👌🙌🏻Why not make the back flaps a little longer so they overlap and glue them together without an additional piece of paper? I will try my suggestion and see if it works!!
Such a beautiful idea. I made these with you last night. I can't believe you made me do geometry and and technical drawing that was literally my nightmare at school 😂, but through "blood and tears " I now have 4 beautiful book corners 😍💖
These are beautiful! Math scares me, but I think I can follow your instructions. I will give these a try! Thanks so much. I love the shape of them too!
Muchas gracias por su magistral explicación a pesar de no saber su idioma la entendí perfectamente que Dios bendiga sus manos y su mente es todo un tesoro de sabiduria
I just found this tutorial Tinne and am so excited to try it! I was going to purchase some metal ones, but these look great! I have some heavier card stock in metal finishes that might work great for these. Thank you for your wonderful ideas! ❤
Tho I am late in finding this lesson I still had to reply with a thank you for your concise/precise tutorial. It is marvelous. Completed my first set of corners and am thrilled with the ability to customize each finished project. Thank you not only for your sharing but also for your exuberant spirit and joy.🤗
Thank you so much. I love this idea and is going to be so much fun to add to my books and projects. I have to craft to a budget and this idea will save me money and I no longer have to wait for products to arrive in the mail to complete a project. Thank you thank you THANK you. Rosie Rosie.
Thank you for showing how to do these faux metal book corners. I have to do some as I make my own journals using old book covers and they will be great on the corners of them. xx
I have just found your channel and love your work thank you so much for sharing your talents and your free downloads. I am going to be making these and other items from your other projects to share with my pen pals. I am sure they will love them
Perfect, thank you. I use the metal ones I purchased and like them, however for a custom made look and a smaller book this is ideal! Thanks for sharing your talents and I also enjoy your collage etsy shop. Had to subscribe to keep up with your genius. Thank you for the free printables!
These book corners are so awesome! Thanks for teaching me how to do it. I stumbled across your channel and I am in love. I subscribed right away and signed up for your newsletter too. I've been checking out your shop and I love your papers!! Gonna get myself in trouble there, lol. You have many things I've been looking for! Hugs 😘 Kelly
@@vectoriadesigns If you don’t have an embossing machine you can lay your cardstock over a rubber stamp or other textured surface and press it lightly with a steam iron. Not sure if it works with paper but I’ve made flocked fabric with that technique.
Did you create this black book over? If so do u have a tutorial on how you made it? LOVE this idea! I purchase some metal corners and they r very expensive! Now, thanks to you I can make my own Thanks
Thanks for sharing! Is the metallic cover also made by you? Do you have a tutorial for that? I tried to find it on your channel but i cant seem to find it
@@vectoriadesigns I see, dont worry! Still, may it be ok to ask how you did it? Very simplified, of course. I imagine you used a similar technique to the faux leather (crumpled parchment paper and paint) but with metallic paint? But also with something added under it to make the 3d relief of the metal? Or maybe its made with alluminum paper? If its too difficult to explain or something, i understand. Nonetheless, thank you for your videos! They are very helpful :D
Wonderful! Thanks for this tutorial...I am here from watching Hanny Tromp's video take on these crafty little corners. I think also these would be a great project for my Brother ScannCut...I'm excited as I never seem to have the plain ones I prefer when I want them and they take so long to arrive from an online store...now I can just make my own...Dx

Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so very much!!! 👍🏻❤️
Thanks Brandi! Glad this helped!
Love this. Wonder what it would look like if you ran them through an embossing folder before you glued them together?
I think that would be awesome! I don't have an embossing machine, but some small pattern would give it an extra touch!

Brilliant!!!!👌💗
You need to manufacture a thin die cut for this. Possibly duplicates on one die so you can cut 4 out at a time.
This is BRILLIANT! Thanks so much for sharing. :-)
