Thank you for making these videos! They are extremely insightful and allow me to listen to these compositions in a new light. Have you ever considered making videos on Scriabin's big orchestral pieces? I feel like Scriabin was a very unique composer in regards to his personal life and philosophy, and some of his works have an interesting background story. I'd love to learn more about the structure/themes/orchestration of pieces like The Divine Poem, The Poem of Ecstasy, and Prometheus if you ever get the chance!
Thank you, I'm happy you find them useful. As a matter of fact, I have Scriabin in the pipeline: I'm supposed to conduct an all-Scriabin festival in fall 2021 and I have it planned to spread episodes about his major works throughout the next few months
@@ggriglio That is awesome! Thank you so much, I'm looking forward to seeing your analysis and conducting guide. Also, do you have any info yet regarding the scriabin festival? I'm thinking about buying tickets and attending if that is possible :)
Pleasure. I don't really have any particular info about the festival other that it will take place in Prague, in the span of a week. There are 5 concerts with the orchestra, covering the orchestral repertoire and the piano concerto. There are also solo piano recitals and a symposium. However, everything has been now put on hold due to covid. So, there's no ticket reservation as of now.
Very interesting, thank you!
You're very welcome
@@ggriglio Will be seeing this symphony in Berlin in September (and the piano concerto with martha argerich), can't wait!
@@gregorsamsa9762 oh that sounds fantastic! I'm sure you'll enjoy it very much!
Thank you so much ..
Always waiting for more
Thank you, there's a new one every week. Mozart 40 will come in 3 weeks from now :)
