I could see Ken having a psychological issues. He starts off with, like YOU SAID, "save a ho" ideal, showing he is the answer. Gets in takes on the burden to prove he is "the man" only to later end at reality to start over with another female at her ropes end.
I also have to wonder if he experienced his mother struggling and he wants to be the answer to prove he's not like the losers that maybe his mother encountered in her life.
Ken does a task that he is not equipped or have the ability to suceed. Yep, he needs help, but is it too late to get him off his hampster wheel? 😃
He won’t leave until the excitement had died done. He seems to be stimulated by drama.
