The original song "A Far L'amore Comincia Tu" was recorded in 1976 by Italian showgirl, actress, singer, dancer, and television presenter Raffaella Carrà. The song was a huge success in Europe and many Spanish-speaking countries. The single sold over 60 million copies worldwide and recorded in five different languages including French, Italian, Spanish, English, and German.
In 2013, French DJ Bob Sinclair's version of the song was used as soundtrack for the Acadamy Award winning film "La Grande Bellezza".
Raffaella Carrà, "The Queen of Italian TV", legend and icon of music, television, film, fashion, and entertainment for 8 decades, since 1952 till her death in July 2021.
