Very late to the party, but in the last turn before opponent concedes, since he has 2 cards in hand, can't you attack 9 with Leader, 11 with Yamato, 13 with Ace to just win right there?
I scrolled to the comments once this happen aswell ahah. I can't think of a scenario where we don't activate rocket luffy there. I assume he just forgot.
If you activate rocket luffy you go up to 8 cards in hand which gives pudding more value. If I leave it on board, to remove it they will need to swing 8k to it instead of 7k to leader which wastes their dons. Alternatively, if they chose to ignore it I can swing again next turn and pop something after using my hand for counter or if I get pudding it can potentially draw me a card next turn if they ignore it. Hope this helps
@@MerryTCG thanks for the reply! so you were playing with pudding in mind, that makes sense then! Thinking about it now, I still think I'd use the effect: because if he had pudding in hand he would play it regardless. Which means he would have 6k + 8k(leadereffect) or 7k 7k(leader effect) into luffy. And with you at 5 cards in hand, I don't think you would defend it and risk going down to 4 or 3 and lose the luffy anyway. So the luffy in field would, at best, tank the attack of the caracter he would have killed anyway. but at least if you killed it, the caracter wouldn't be around the following turn. Best case scenario here, is if luffy survives the turn and gets to attack again next turn before using the effect, but that might be a bit too greedy. For him to survive, you needed to use at least 3 cards from your new hand. leaving you at 2 in hand. I don't play Enel though, so I might have the wrong mindset for it. I can see what you were thinking about, and there's a world where we don't use luffy there. Thanks for the insight!
@@WazzzPT I assume you're talking about around 9 minutes in. I believe it would be incorrect to use the effect 9 times out of 10. After pudding there will be 4 don left so the swings would be 7k with lead and effect then 6k at Luffy and 5k lead in this case i believe you defend Luffy if you're able depending on what you draw. In the case opponent uses blackbeard effect they can swing 7k,7k,6k and have 2 cards in hand and you should let Luffy die probably and can clear board next turn depending on what you draw. The only thing that bugs me alot is the mismatched rarities
Hearing doffy player saying "I'm not seeing anything" is music to my ears lol
