It is very pretty but for me it would be impractical. I have a very hardworking kitchen so I don't have anything on my islands I don't need and can't easily wipe clean. When my blender does its belated burp it won't heap barbecue sauce all over my cute stack of old books. On my sink island everything is either in/on my large walnut chopping block (acts as a tray to ground items a birds nest fern in cachepot, large bowl of rolled dishtowels and a paper towel dispenser), my footed cake plate (next to the sink for dish soap etc) and my dish rack. My butcher block island which has chairs serving snacks or casual meals has an oversized fruit bowl and an embossed alligator leather tray for paper napkins, salt pepper etc. You have talent and many people will appreciate and enjoy your aesthetic and most importantly can maintain it.
Nice tips. Do you recommend 2 or 3 pendents for a 10 feet long kitchen island? Not sure which would look best. Would love your input. You have great taste. 👍🏼
Bell M I wish I knew what they were called! I’m so sorry. I just went to hobby lobby the other day and I didn’t see them there anymore. They might be seasonal. Hobby lobby did have some eucalyptus stems that were gorgeous though! Those would look great for a centerpiece.
Hi Taisha! I cant remember the name of the colors. Im so sorry! The white cabinets are just a builder grade standard white and the island is stained mocha.
Great tips here, but absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to screenshot the finished look to save as Inspo. Constant pointing, arms flailing about, touching everything even after it’s been placed. If I may suggest… take a step back, and away, so the final arrangement can be absorbed, enjoyed, and fully appreciated, without distraction. Many other TH-camrs do the same… it’s not personal Kyle, just a suggestion to elevate you above the rest.
