@ModelRailwayShed thanks and yeah concrete Bob is one of my favorite locos am gutted there aren't any left now with drs, glad you enjoyed the running session 🙂
An enjoyable running session, Tom. There is plenty of action to keep us entertained, and at least there's no spooky goings on like there is on our latest...cheers James 🙂👍
Thanks James i look forward to seeing that, i was tempted to buy the modelu ghostbusters figures but wasn't sure id be able to paint them well enough lol
Hi Tom, Nice verity of stock in this running session like it ,your EWS coal wagons are they free running mine aren’t and there’s a lot of weight in a 10 rake puts a lot of strain on the locos motor cheers Al
@breintonjunction791 Hi Al the ews coal wagons are pretty heavy, the wheels are reasonably free rolling the dapol class 59 in this video handles them fine and my bachmann class 66 the hornby class 60 would struggle abit
I was wondering which heritage line you were representing in this layout. I used to work at the Epping Ongar Railway, which is classed as the local heritage railway to Hertfordshire and London.
@Madonsteamrailways at the moment it's just a generic heritage railway but when I extend it I intend to build haverthwaite station on the lakeside & haverthwaite railway
Should have operated a Ghost Train Gala, with steam engines and the DMU only. That is, unless you're scared of the spooky idea, which I understand. I just wish you wouldn't run the 66 diesel every time, it's too loud and harsh on my ears. Worst of all, it drowns out the sound of steam engines hard at work. I don't like it when the sound of a steam engine is drowned out. The growl of a 37, I can take, plus a 47. Those diesels are a bit quieter so you can run those any time. I do love your industrial steamies, not keen on two of them. I hope you finish with one steam engine and put her to bed before running a different one. Two steamies with different trains on the same track is a recipe for disaster. Sam's Trains suffered it once, don't make the same mistake.
I absolutely adore the steam locomotive. It’s an exciting ride and glorious to watch.
@@Madonsteamrailways glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Great running session Tom. like all your stock especially your industrial engines Regards Alan
@alanmargalan5921 thanks Alan I thought I'd try something different and some of these locos hadn't been run for a while

@@northwesttrainsmodels we've got them, but they're not on the video. We've left it to Scooby Doo and the gang to sort out the ghouls 😁👍
