Just glad to see you doing what is so natural to you! Your part of a dying breed! True professional driver! Not a steering wheel holder! Stay safe my friend!
For us it's a dream to drive Euro trucks because USA trucks are hot garbage!!!! xD Unless you have a peterbilt like Hightrung. These built classic petes and KW's are nice. Otherwise modern american trucks are cheap plastic junk that have zero comforts and literally rattle your teeth out!
@@robertgardner4508 European Trucks are plastic too, and the cabins are (a lot) smaller. And European roads are narrower, busier... they are not the same large areas as in the USA, the population density per km² is higher in Europe. So youre good in US believe me.
@@sirius8103 everything is plastic but the quality difference between euro and American trucks is large. American trucks are very cheap creaky and rattling plastic, euros trucks don’t make near the amount of interior cabin noise American trucks do. Yes eu has tight roads especially depending on where you live but you also have very different trailer, length laws and the cab over trucks that can handle that kind of stuff where American trucks are boats that can’t turn worth shit even in large spaces where you think you have room. European trucks do have smaller cabs but typically from my European trucking friends, you don’t spend more than 4-5 days in the truck due to work laws you have to go home and take a weekend off (I don’t know if this is a where you live thing or most of Europe) but my friend in Europe driving are either home daily 38-40 hours a week driving, or they’re outa few days but forced to take the weekend off. My truck had a little more space sure, but it’s pretty cramped and driving OTR I used to be out for months like 3-4 months at a time before I came home for 5-6 days. Living out of the truck like that was very miserable and while cozy like camping I was very limited to what I had for entrainment, exercise and food most importantly, trying to maintain a diet and cook in the truck was just as difficult as a EU truck even if I had a small swing out table and stuff. Volvo cabs in the FH models though are pretty spacious, so idk it’s all preference but US trucks often have super cheap spring air ride seats and never have good cab air suspension on front air ride, every truck I’ve ever driven even a brand new t680 with the “nicer” seats had only 2 cab air bags in the back and front spring suspension on drum brakes, and the interior despite being a brand new truck rattled like shit.
@@sirius8103 and try delivering in NYC, LA, or Chicago. Have fun with the traffic and right roads for a US truck standards. Everywhere has their ups and downs with traffic whether it’s a vehicle dependent country or not lol.
Hell yeah, congrats on the new place and glad to see you’re doing well brother. Love your videos and life behind the wheel is my absolute favorite trucking channel. Safe travels and keep up the awesome content bro!
YOU WENT THROUGH MY COUNTIES! As soon as I saw those smoke stacks that’s how I knew you were around Springfield IL, then I realized that road construction was McLean county. That just made this the best video of yours that I’ve watched!!
Hey buddy love your trucking video, as a retired trucker, something you might consider is a camera system called Swift Hitch, I have used one for years sure makes backing in a breeze, wireless with magnetic mount, just an idea to make life easier.
Great sounding Jake brakes let’s hear some more of these. Keep up the good work driver. I enjoyed your video and the engine sounds great. I hope you have a wonderful trip, I have to go now. May our Lord be with you always.
I always watch your videos and would really like to see more the night routine, food, truck stop type stuff. Like the end of the shift and how truckers wind down and eat etc. I know you get tired like the rest of us and wanna chill and sleep but I find that part the most interesting. Stay safe.
Still glad to see you back out there doing what you love to do. You'll get your groove back!! Definitely enjoyed the ride to the west coast. Stay safe out there!
Welcome to Wisconsin. I live in the southeast part of the state. Hoping to see your truck out and about. Keep up the great job and keep the greasy side down
I’m from St. Louis and it was cool to see you coming by. When you got off the highway though I was thinking that’s not a great area, so it cracked me up that the security guard came to get you because of that
Awfully quiet from the clowns that though this guy fell off the earth, fell into a bottle and caught 6 dwi’s, was in a corner laying tracks in his arm etc… Glad to see you having continued success Dakota. Nice computer! Anticipating lots of new content now that you are settled 😃
