    Haha voice is amazing. And the ending was perfect. You can buy foam to match the thread color........ but who has money for that. 💯🙏🏿

    Awesome Tutorial, I have a Question when I am working on the Caps when following your video and you do the Digitize closed shape your is closing as a half circle and when I am doing it it closes it as a full circle. There is probably a setting that I do not have set up but hoping you can help me out or possibly tell me what I am doing wrong!
    Thank you!!

    What kind 9f foam did you use

      PuffyStitch! I get it from AllStitch:

    Spiffy, thank you!
    Hopefully this doesn't get you pestered by that lady out of California who's been sending folks C&Ds for patent infringement re: puffy and/or embossed embroidery tutorials. I've seen a few videos about it this past month from other creators in the embroidery space, and one lady even gives the patent number in her video.

      Oh, I'm KEENLY aware of her shenanigans. I have not been served and I won't be for this particular video. Her patent specifically covers the embossed look. She's a sneaky one. She only goes after smaller creators. You'll notice she hasn't touched Ricoma or Brother for their tutorials. There's a reason for that. I'm consulting with a patent lawyer and preparing a Seamrippin' video specifically on this topic.

      @@fiercekittenz I have seen that nonsense. When I saw the first demo on Puff Embroidery I thought it was
      Trapunto. Don't think that person came up with that one. Wishing you all the best @fiercekittenz. New Sub here.

      @@Dee_B23 MMMM HMM exactly. Thing is, trapunto uses quilting batting, not foam. Her patent specifically calls out foam. Spoiler alert: you can use felt.

      @@fiercekittenz I hope she's prepared for the can of sh!t she opened by going after people in our community! Dr. Elizabeth Townsend Gard, Law professor at Tulane University that specializes in Intellectual Property Law, Copyrights, Trademarks, etc., is now looking into this matter. And Dr. Gard a quilter so she's one of us!

    So using the 3d satin feature is not good on Hatch?

    • @fiercekittenz
      @fiercekittenz  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      In Hatch 3 it's called "raised satin." It's just applying several layers of satin stitching on top of the other and doesn't really involve foam.
