Ingredients:
Marinade:
2 lbs oxtail
1 large roma tomato
2 ribs green onion
1/2 bunch parsley
1 small onion
1 scotch bonnet pepper
5-6 cloves garlic
1 tbs salt
1 tsp blk pepper
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp all-spice
2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
2-3 tbs browning
*Adjust as needed
Simmering ingredients:
2 cups water
The marinade
1 tbs oxtail seasoning
4 sprigs fresh thyme
2 bay leaves
**Extra garlic powder is not needed. It was mentioned in the video.
*As it cooks, taste and adjust
Ricotta layer:
15 oz ricotta cheese
1 egg
1/2 bunch parsley
1.5 cups parmesan cheese
2 tsp garlic powder
1-2 tsp salt
*Spread thinly
Other:
Freshly grated mozzarella, provolone and parmesan cheeses
1 pkt fresh pasta lasagna sheets

So, Sis was not lying about the time commitment. It took me two days to make this lasagna but when I tell you we hurt ourselves throwing down. I made two pans and one was gone in one sitting. This dish is the truth‼️

Regarding the meat it can stay in the freezer for almost a year because the bacteria dies once you freeze it.
If you like your pasta al dente don’t boil your pasta the next time because the liquid will cook the pasta.

2)(6:18-6:22) I liked & appreciate when Miss Miriam stated : “I’m a tell you my dilemma & my downfall.” It really takes courage & especially honesty to present/introduce/admit our weaknesses/faults and/or mistakes. Miss Miriam obviously wanted/wished for her subscribers’ SAME recipe to turn out better-thank you for saving us some of the last minute hassle lol. This part of the video reminded me of a book I read years ago during a vacation that said: “Woman (men as well-let’s not discriminate lol) are a combination of weaknesses & strength.” & this is absolutely true & what we ALL humans have in common

If you ever make lasagna of any kind for one again, I recommend using instant lasagna sheets and using a bread pan instead. That way you can make many layers with the same amount.

When cooking oxtail, one must have a pressure cooker to avoid the long cook time. It looks divine!
I still prefer mine on the stove. The gravy just comes out better.
So do I! I’ve tried the pressure cooker method but I prefer just stewing them low and slow on the stove. And the more fresh the ox tail the shorter the stew time.
