It may be an accidental paint colour, but I think it's a very fortunate accident. The grey is so pale that it still gives a really good brightness without being stark, and would look great if you did the baseboards and trims in a somewhat glossier white. The shelves look really good and if you style them when you load your belongings, they'll be dynamite. I wouldn't rush to replace them. Mirror and a tiered candle holder would look awesome in front of the blocked hearth. That's a pretty awesome looking space you've bought.
it wont be most ideal but why not set up a mattress and bedding in your new place so if you finish late you can just stay the night and not drive so late at night
omg so excited for you, ive followed you for years, your moving vlogs are my faves and watched them through the years but so happy that you already have your own place ❤
Honestly, I am passing through a very tough time, but your videos make me feel better. I tend to rewatch your old videos too. You are like a ray of sunshine!
I have had these sinus issues and I believe I have a deviated septum. It’s been like this for 6 years. I am waiting to see a specialist right now. And I have never had an operation so I really hope I don’t have too. I hope everything goes very well and your new house is beautiful I’m glad things are finally working out. I’ve followed for awhile. Lots of love to you and Nellie 💕
I love that you're doing the painting and other "home stuff" on your own :) Ofcourse everyone can do whatever they want, but it's nice to see that we (as women) can do renovation stuff too. Build furnitures, paint walls, etc. I do those kind of things by myself too and I love it :)
Gabbie! I've come back to your channel and I love this new content! I always loved your moving vlogs but really enjoying watching you make your first house a home! I love your taste in decor and you look so healthy and happy since the last time i watched you! (Not like you didn't look healthy before) it just looks like you have found your style, wearing less make up and showing off your beauty... I like this Gabbie a lot! So excited to keep watching you on this journey x
Good luck for your operation! Many of my friends and family have had to have it and its not nearly as bad as people expect! Loving the moving vlogs as usual. Youre an amazing person and I love the commitment to us with these videos ♡
Just a recommendation with painting, if you’re using an acrylic based paint on your walls, you can use water to help thin out the texture of your paint which makes the process so much easier. It also makes drying time quicker! I’m a scenic painter on sets and this is the biggest thing to help keep time fast!
my grandma had that operation a few years ago and she was out of hospital the same day and hardly had any pain, she did have to flush her nose out twice a day with this weird tubey thing but other than that she was fine and you would NEVER tell she had an op on her nose at all - youll be fine! good luck ♥️
Two great things about having the very pale grey instead of stark white. It will be easier on your eyes if you ever get light-sensitivity headaches. And it won't go yellow over time like white tends to do.
Bit late now but when you paint the next room, maybe get a big tub of standard white paint and do the first coat with that. Then you only need to do one or two coats with the colour you choose. Its good to do that even if the old colour is light as it makes the new one more vibrant and saves loads of money instead of burning through tonnes of coloured paint 🙂 loving the vlogs right now 😍
I would love it if you vlogged your recovery. I have a deviated septum too and i have constant problems with my nose - it runs all the time, it bleeds constantly, and scabs always form on the inside, making it incredibly hard to breathe (especially at night). So yeah, I'd be interested to hear you talk about the operation and your recovery.
I'm not a usual commenter but I've been loving your moving and refurb vlogs! I'm in the process of buying a house just now and it's giving me inspo to turn where we buy into our own space and have it looking the way we want! Can't wait to see how your bathroom turns out! 😍
We have literally just done something similar with our paint! We bought what we thought was an off white to cream colour and when we opened it and started painting it turned out to be a more blue tinted white! But it actually turned out well because our gloss is white and really sets off the walls and our fireplace wall as it’s a cornflour blue! ❤️ you live and learn! Take it as experience 😂😂👍🏻 x
Check ur paint cans to see if you’ll need some kind of clear coat to set the paint!!! I totally forgot to do that on my classroom walls and all of the paint chipped off
Oh my god at 7:53 when the lorry went past I didn’t think your car had stopped and literally just shouted ‘BRAKES JANE’ 😂😂😂 loving your moving vlogs by the way❤️
I had exactly the same operation last year! It was fine, there was nothing to see from the outside if your nervous for that. I was out of business for 2-3 weeks. Just thought i would tell you my experience
Try not to worry about the surgery. My son had this, along with two other facial surgeries, when he was 15 and he recovered very quickly. It's worth it!
I have a deviated septum too. it's no fun. One side of my nose is always stuffed. But for now it isn't causing me enough issues to make surgery necessary, but my mom has had it, and it helped her sinus issues.
Oh Gabbie...I have a deviated septum also and the inside of one side of my nose stays terribly swollen and so red. I hate to hear you need surgery. Truth is, I probably do also. I’ll be praying for you. I’ve been on Zyrtec OTC for several years and that has helped a lot. So sorry it has come in the middle of your moving! Be strong! ♥️🙏🤗
The operation won't be bad it's super fast and you won't have much pain afterwards my boyfriend had it two weeks ago he was back to work after two days you'll be stuffy afterwards but be able to breath better pretty much right away 😘
I love the movies in your box. That is so me plus! The musicals, Harry Potter, Love Simon, and etc. great taste. Loving these moving videos and you are awesome!
I have a deviated septum and have such bad sinus issues. I have put off the surgery for a long time. It would he interesting to see some of the recovery
I recently painted my room which is about half the size of your living room and my gosh painting the ceiling was the hardest thing ever!!! I was dripping with sweat and my shoulder muscles ached for days!
Your much better at packing than I am your vlogs are interesting especially getting the new place ready.its beginning to take shape now.it looks lovely.
Yes, I love recovery blogs and moving house! Good luck! My dad hasnt gotten his sinus surgery and he snores very loud plus doesnt get enough sleep. My husband father and sister had the sinus surgery. Not very scary at all! Best of Luck!
Just had the same surgery, plus my adenoids removed. was very non invasive and no bruises or pain. Recovery was like less than a week! And your nose has zero change looks wise
Just wondering if you might need to “knock down “ your paint in future , means it goes on less thick and you get more of a smooth finish and the paint goes further xx
Absolutely love you and your vlogs. Cannot wait to see the finished flat. Could you update us on how the moving process has impacted your weight loss? My parents lost loads of weight through all the manual handling, decorating, etc.
Love, love, love your moving series! I'm moving in a couple of weeks too and it's stressful. If you could do a video with tips for moving etc, it would be amazing. Btw your new home is really lovely. Love you xx
I feel like I've been having similar symptoms to you for a while, and I've just been considering whether I need to see a nose, ear and throat specialist to see what's going on. I think I might finally book in after seeing your update.
I feel your pain! 😭 I’ve had a septoplasty once and then rebroke my nose and now need it done again! But I swear the operation wasn’t that bad, I’m not worried about having it again if that helps! Good luck gal x
I’ve been watching you since you were living at home in Sheffield. I’ve watched you move every time n this vlog for some reason made me really proud ??? IM SAD ALLOW IT
My brother has a deviated septum so I know it's really hard xx he also had an operation but unfortunately it didn't do anything for him but I hope it works for you! 💕🌟
I love all things packing, moving and setting up videos! Gives me so many tips and ideas of different ways of doing things. Of all of your dvd movies, which has been watched the most?
