    The two 12v 100a batteries in series will produce 24v at 100a. Technically you *could* hook up the 24v battery in parallel with the series array of batteries, but might need to run them through separate fuses and or breakers or something.

    I always buy CPUs and run them at stock speed, end result is I've never had a system fail in 30 years.

      Always running computer hardware off of conditioned power on UPS's also helps. I had a socket 939 motherboard & CPU I just phased out after 15 years running as a server because I had phased out better desktop hardware (10 years old) to replace it.

    I waited for the power to turn back on in the neighborhood so it would charge my batteries again. The system wouldn’t even let the solar charge up the batteries to turn everything back on until it had city power. I have purchased a generator for future issues which is inevitable in California. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🚒🧯

    Yep, Just did a 10850k, & a gigabyte z590 master. The last few top teir mobo's from gigabyte all have 10G onboard. Paid new 170 shipped for mobo, 330 used for the chip. Both ebayed. I can now trans code 4k no problem, and no longer need the gtx1070 in that machine.

    Do you use software like tdarr to save space on ur server for ur plex library? If not then why since i doubt you could notice any quality difference if your media isn't already in hvec.

    My first time comment on JBB! Lol. I have two dedicated 20 amp circuit runs to my rack and have one PDU one one and the second PDU on the other, this works nice for my servers with failover PSU, but for my switches and gear that is single outlet, during if a circuit dies or i move the rack, I have to kill half the rack and would like to keep it on. So if I replace both PDU's with these and then plug into BOTH circuits, then I can successfully kill power on half and keep everything running. lessing any downtime and the long time it takes to restore all my services.

      Hello, first time, long time here!
      Thanks for the model info... just picked up 2 of them on ebay for $150 each... that was the cheapest... saw it upwards of $300 each from some sellers. These were $174.99 each and I made offer for 150 each and they took it, so $50 savings

    Cura has "Support Blockers" they are cubes that you can change the characteristics of whatever is in that block. So if you want something to be 100% infill, but not the whole project, you can do that. If you want to block supports from being built at a certain spot, you can do that. Neat feature.

    You’ve got the soks in series so the max current stays at 100A. But you’ve doubled the voltage and thus the capacity since you’ve now got 2batteries. You cannot add an other battery with a different voltage in paralel because the voltage will want to level and so it causes a huge current (which is bad). Even after this it won’t work properly since the voltage is different the new one or the 2 old ones won’t be able to be fully charged. If you want to add more batteries in paralel you have to make sure they are exactly the same battery type (lead acid, lithium ion, etc.) and the same voltage. I’m no expert or engineer so I might be wrong but this is what i know

    Don't mix batteries with different voltages.
    The batteries will attempt to reach equalibrium, meaning that the battery with higher voltage will attempt to overcharge the battery(s) with lower voltage. This will not only cause harm to the batteries, it will also produce a lot of heat.
    With batteries containing that much energy I strongly advice against testing this, as burning down your house due to an uncontrollable lithium battery fire is both bad to your health and financials.

    • @zector0
      @zector0 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      PS, It's hard to see the top of that new battery so I might be completely wrong, but it looked like you where quite close become a human "quick discharge tester" by bridging the positive and negative if the battery with your left arm during the end of the video.

      And finally, you currently run 2*12v 100ah batteries in series, this gives you 24v 100ah of power. This new battery is 25.6v 100ah, meaning it contains more energy than your current batteries combined, but depending on its specifications regarding discharge and charge rate it might either be capable of handling a higher wattage load or not compared to your current batteries.

    Battery info:
    Charging LIFEPO4 Batteries in Series
    When connecting cells in series, make sure that the voltage between each cell is within 50mV (0.05V) before putting them into use. This will minimize the possibility of imbalance between cells. If your cells are out of balance and the voltage of any cell is greater than 50mV (0.05V) from another cell in the group, you should charge each cell individually to rebalance. You can periodically charge each cell individually to avoid imbalance. When charging LiFePO4 cells in series, it is best to use multiple chargers to charge each cell individually to ensure that the cells remain balanced. If you want to charge the entire system, you can also use a 24V battery LiFePO4 charger or a 48V battery LiFePO4 charger.
    tldr: You need to be very careful the 2 12volt batteries are at the same voltage when you connect them together and you should periodically check them to make sure they stay at the same voltage.

    this battery configuration is the only way u can wire a system like that and u can imagine that the 24v 100ah battery is 2 sperate 12v 100ah => u have 4 12v battery wired in a 2series 2 parallel config.

    Batteries that run in series will stack voltage while capacity and current remain constant. Batteries that are in parallel voltage will remain constant while capacity and current will stack. Your diagram would mostly like fry something. You'll want to run those 2 12V100AH batteries in series, which will give 24V100AH then run that set with the 24V100AH in parallel. That would give you 24V200AH or you can supply 200A at 24V for one hour.
    (from inverter)- - - - - < - 12V100Ah + >++++< - 12V100Ah +>++++< + Inverter - >- - - -(to battery)
    (from inverter)- - - - - < - 24V100Ah + >+++++++++++++++++++++- - - -(to battery)

      The new battery isn't 24v, it's 25.6v. Your recommendation would work if this wasn't the case, as it is there would at best be damage to the batteries and at worst turn into an uncontrollable lithium fire, filling his house with toxic gasses and then burning it to the ground.
      Hence, my advice is to avoid mixing lithium batteries with different voltages.

    • @B3yondBlu

      @@zector0 No. They're both LiFePO4 cells which has a nominal voltage of 3.0V to 3.2V. One has 4 cells in series and the other has 8 in series. Also a 1-2 volt difference isn't gonna be catastrophic, most if not all lithium batteries will have internal protections that can handle minor voltage differences.

    when you run the 2 12v 100 amp in series they are running as 24v at 100 amps then run it in parallel with the 24v 100 amp you will have 24v 200 amps

      @@zector0 your being alittle dramatic thats what the battery management system is for. if you were correct then every person running dual 18650 mods vaping would have devices on them blow up all the time as the mods use crude power regulation can cause the batteries to drain at diffrent rates causing them to be at diffrent voltage states. same with a tessla there packs are not perfect and degrade at diffrent rates and the only time they blow up is in a crash.

    bateries in parallel multiply the amps and voltage stay the same. bateries in series multiply the voltage and amps stay the same. So 2*12V 100A in parallel give You 12v 200A and in series 24v 100A. Current setup have only 100A discharge!!! If You add a 24V 100A single battery then You will have 200A discharge. Yes You can add this single 24V battery. Charge all bateries fully, then connect them together to avoid any rapid current flow. Simply Your bateries in series should have the same voltage as this 24V one and be fully charged before connection.
    If bateries have diferent chemistry do not combine them. Also check max and min voltage specs for those bateries. They need to be exact the same, otherwise do not connect them. All I said is only for testing because it is technically posible. But mixing bateries that way as a permament solution is asking for trouble in long term. Buy 10 ohm 50 or 100 W resistor (car resistor?) and use it instead of thin piece of wire to connect bateries to inverter. You will aviod sparks of melted metal flying around :)

    Electrical engineer here.
    If you opened up the batteries you have, you would find:
    1. Each of the 12.8V 100Ah batteries has 4 3.2 100Ah cells in it wired in series, so both batteries in series yields 8 3.2V 100Ah cells wired in series, for 25.6V at 100 Ah.
    2. The new battery has 8 3.2V 100Ah cells wired in series, for 25.6V at 100 Ah.
    HOWEVER: Before adding the 25.6V battery in parallel, BE SURE that ALL batteries are at the same state of charge. Both sets are the same voltage, +/- 0.1V. Otherwise, the battery with the higher voltage will charge the other without being regulated, and that could cause fireworks.

      Plex is such bullshit anymore. I just set it up for a few people these past few days. Haven't seen any new version til now. HORRIBLE. Pushing streaming services integrated into it. Makes no sense, because Plex is going to be on a device that has those services anyway. Unable to remove THEIR free content from the side menu. I can see soon enough that their major donors (the studios) are going to tell them they have to pull the plug on personal media and TV tuner/DVR stuff.

    Batteries: Same chemistry batteries in parallel are fine and current capacities dont matter. When is series is when it matters, must be same chemistry and same capacity values.
    Chenbro: OMG, what turds that thing was, crap back-planes.
    Powerwall: Invertor needs to powered from battery side, if BMS units turn off, invertor wont start up till voltage comes up battery side, use external charger for the batteries.
    Jack Black: LOL, muppet.......
    25.6V battery: Wank, pure wank. 24V nominal battery. Match the chemistry.
