A great bag. Yours has a pretty patina. This bag has the upside LV monogram in the back, or one continuing piece of the monogram canvas. To me, it adds to the popularity of the bag. I got mine about two months ago. When I went to the LV store, the bag was not on display. So, I asked and they had three in stock. Great video. Thank you.

Hi! I know this vid is a year old. Just wanting to ask how the hardware (e.i. clasps) is holding up and whether or not you had to replace it?
My handbag has really tarnished on the inside of the clasps to the point it turned silver and also the d-rings where you hook it onto. It's less than a year old and rarely used. Is this a common problem?

You touched the body of the bag when you mentioned how the leather was holding up. The only leather on the bag is the handle. The body of the bag is coated canvas. It's a PVC plastic coating on top of canvas material. The bag unfortunately is not made of leather. For the price you'd think it would be though!
Krisword the monalisa painting is only maid of cheap paint and canvas! Yet it's so expensive! It's not about the leather! It's about the style the craftmanship and the joy it brings!

Thanks for such an informative and helpful video. I just wanted to ask you something about the Pochette Metis. I recently managed to purchase one in London UK, but when I got it home I noticed that I could feel the back of lock... the plate part through the lining inside the front pocket. Is this normal? I feel that LV should have added an extra layer to the back of the lock or made the lining thicker to prevent possible thinning of the lining with wear, particularly when putting in and pulling things out of the bag, surely it will rub on that area and cause indentation.
The problem with this this model of bag is it’s so hard to obtain, I never have the chance to compare two in the store (bc they never have two at one time!). If you CAN feel the back of the lock through the lining I will feel reassured knowing it’s not just mine.

You could have used Apple Spray Guard on the leather handle & tabs if you wanted the leather to stay that light color and not get that beautiful patina. 😁 Shea Whitney did that with one of her LV bags and did a video of it. 👍🏼

Going to say the same thing The bag itself is triple coded canvas I know I have 17 of them only one leather one I have and that’s is leather out of the 17 Louis Vuitton bags is my artsy MM it looks like it’s black but it’s really blue but enjoyed watching your video the POCHETTE METIS Is one of my favorite also that in my bags and then I had to Chanel double flap and lambskin one with the silver hardware in one with the gold in size small for each I know they’re a lot more than the Louis Vuitton bags but to be honest with you I don’t reach for them much especially the gold one

Louis Vuitton NEVER has a sale if you buy it brand new. In fact the prices keep going up!! Maybe you can find one pre loved for a good deal.

huyen anh pizzabella heck yes! My speedy b has chipping on the brass in about a year and my delightful had chipping in under 6'months. My speedy was fixed and my delightful ended up being replaced

This is (by far) my favorite LV bag. FYI-- I had an issue with my lock not staying closed and LV replaced it free of charge. It was really scratched up too, so getting a new one was great (this time I haven't removed the plastic covering yet).

The po is the same than on the word doe
The ch is the same as in the word shy
the ette you got ok, it's the same than in silhouette.

LV Monogram bags are made of canvas, only handle and trim is leather. Love this bag, but too many pp carry it now.

Your "gold" hardware is brass, you can get brass cleaner and it will come up like new.
Does this pattern become dark?

Why is it, that some have a light nude body leather strap, and other have the dark canvas ones? 🤷🏻♀️

No, the leather gets what’s called “patina” after months of use and gets darker due to sun exposure and the oils on your hands

Every girl wants what she doesn't have but what we don't realize is someone's looking at us wishing they had what we have. The key is to learn to be ok with what you look like (generally speaking, not as a rule) and be thankful we are healthy or mostly healthy. And that's not criticism just encouragement. 😘

It's real. LV uses one continual piece to wrap the front and back. That's how you know it's real.

It’s not Leather is triple Code it canvas I am 26 Louis Vuitton bags and only a few of them are all leather in those are my artsy’s MM I have four of them bags and only two of them are all leather

Sunshine A. If you talk to the sales people nicely, they'll do it for free, it's all about attitude. I fixed a over 10 year old wallet for free. LV qualities are great.
