Nice review. A friend suggested this resort for an upcoming anniversary trip. I came looking for an honest review. You gave that. We travel often and have been to Cancun many times. Envelopes ✉️ and paper are for gratuity and notes 📝 to your housekeeper. This property is a bit too new and big for my taste. Not enough amenities up and running. You asked about booking that suite, and personally, I wouldn't. We prefer club level. I'd like to know more about check-in, customer service and nitelife. Also, you mentioned another property being built right next door? Was there construction 🚧 noise?
Hey Luv! Glad you liked my review! ☺️To answer your questions: check in was easy. I did receive a cool towel and welcome drink. I didn't have to worry about taking my bags to my room myself. One thing that I didn't care for was that after my payment was taken, I was kinda of passed to the "sales man" whose job it was to get me to go to the sister property for a free breakfast. He gave me a coupon book for money off the spa and other things but I knew already it was an upsell for some type of membership I cared less about. Customer service was great! Every resort staff always said hello and asked if I needed anything and how my stay was. As for the nightlife, I honesty thought it was dull. No parties but the day time activities like bingo, pool games, casino tables, etc. were always a hit and the Entertainment staff who organized them did a great job of keeping guests spirits high. As for the neighboring property (it can be seen in the thumbnail for this video), it's already built and they were just working on the poo. I was right next to it and NEVER bothered by any noise. Hope this gave you a little more insight to the resort🙂 and you enjoy future stays in Cancun! Oh and I appreciate the reasons for the envelope and paper! 🤦🏾♀️ Makes perfect sense now!
hi, queen! I’m flying to Cancun next month for my bday & my boyfriend picked this resort for us & I’ve been overthinking due to seeing bad reviews in every resort but how would you rate it? and any bad comments?
First, Happy Birthday luv!!🎉 What an amazing BF to plan your bday celebration! Secondly, don’t get in your head about the reviews! I definitely enjoyed myself (and was alone) Your going to be in great company! Overall, I rate the resort an 8. My room was great! The food was good! All the staff was kind and friendly! I wish that the pool umbrellas would of been up during my stay but to the resort’s defense, I was there when Hurricane Beryl was approaching so I can understand the safety aspect! Enjoy yourself Beautiful! It’ll be great!!
Hi beautiful! Great overview video of this hotel! What was the demographic at this resort? Would you recommend for a 45-year old solo-travelling professionally employed straight and single man, who is a foodie, loves tequila, not into wild swinging action but wants good quality fun with like-minded singles?
Appreciate the compliment @rbvan 😊 I would say that this resort checks all the boxes you’re looking for EXCEPT for the “like minded singles” part. 🫤 Lots of couples here! I suggest doing a group activity the resort offers. Your chances may be higher of meeting singles that way.
EMPOWERED is the first word that comes to mind followed by FEARLESS! My first solo trip was to Bali in 2019. I took 3 planes to get there. I think that there are quite a few things that once a female conquers and overcomes, she has a sense of being unstoppable! I know now that there is nothing I can’t do “solo”. (Doesn’t mean I always want to, but just the reassurance to mySLEF, that I CAN!!)
