That day is still so vivid in my mind. Great to see the town rebuilding and the community coming back.

Thank you Brandon for all of your stories and reporting. You have kept our story alive uncovering all the corruption and the lies. You are apart of the camp fire family.

I try to tell people this fire in this place was different because everyone on the ridge that day thought they were going to die. I was glad that I was there today.

Sadly, now what the trust has done to all of us is absolutely unfair and unforgivable. The town now may not recover the way it should because of PGE and the trust not honoring our settlements. We would have a chance at becoming whole if Newsom would give us funds from the wildfire funds set aside for tragedies like ours. I hope one day to return to Paradise and see the new town and remember the good times I once had there. Thanks for sharing your story, and God Bless.

Yes. what started out was a 100% payout based on values that the trust assigned. Now, the figure is more like 66-72% total for the people that entered the lawsuit. Nothing for the people that didn't.

😡👹🤬5 yrs later, my son DIES of LUNG CANCER. Just short of his 57th Birthday. He was in 2 video. He was a retired Fireman & tried to save his house. One video says he was “the last man out”.
PGE STILL HAS NOT PAID SURVIVORS COMPLETELY‼️ BUT, they spend hundreds of thousands on advertising telling U how much they care. That’s pure BULL SH…..‼️ I’m still living with relatives. My Gr Daughter & family moved away. PGE HAS RUINED LIVES & DOESNT CARE😡👹🤬

    God is Enough
    Not God and...but GOD!
    God is enough. God alone.
If I have all else my heart would desire, and have not Him, I have nothing.
If I have Him and nothing more I have everything.
My heart must be convinced of this.
Only then can I live in peace.
Otherwise there will always be something else I need urgently, desperately.
And this lack, this urgent need of filling this lack will forever drive me to distraction
and destroy my rightful peace and rest, quietness and confidence in the Lord.
This doesn't mean I won't recognize other things that might be considered needs.
It's only that, while I may see them as good or desirable if within God's will and purpose for me, I won't see them as ultimate needs.
I won't see them as ultimate needs because God, and God alone, is my only ultimate need.
And what He gives me, in the way and time He gives them, is fine with me.
For He alone is ultimately enough.
    Enough for me.
Yes, I have what humans view as responsibilities.
But only those that are God-given are truly mine.
And they are not so much responsibilities as opportunities.
Opportunities to serve, and please, and bring pleasure to the One, Who is Himself alone All I need, and by His grace increasingly all I want.

Garage doors have releases, but you need to know about them and be strong enough to use them.

This is the most concise and well intentioned response to this nonsense I've seen yet. People will ask rhetorically genuine questions about fire behavior as if it's a "gotcha!!" Instead of becoming educated on the matters they initially find inconceivable, they look to conspiracies. Misdirected focus at best.
