    Sub'd. Great job! It came out great! Just a few recommendations. First, mount the bottom of the rear shocks to where the links are. You just use longer screws. It will give you a bit more droop to the rear. Second, I think you can benefit by lowering the powerwagon body a bit more. It is still sitting a bit high. It will mean that you will have to trim the body a bit more. Third, I know you mentioned that you might not need the High Clearance links, but that makes a huge difference. I would reconsider. Lastly, I am not sure what size battery you are planning to use, but most folks put the ESC and receiver on one side, and use the battery on the other side. This helps to balance out the weight. Other than that, just try few tweaks at a time, and adjust. I think you will love it.

      Thank you for subbing and for all the great advice!!🙌 I never thought about attaching the rear shock to the lower link. Thats a great idea! May I ask what are the benefits of increase droop in the rear? I was thinking less is better ; I'm at 40% droop in the rear and 42% in the front. The closest side weight distribution i can get is this current configuration of electronics. The 550 motor and the steel gears from factory are too heavy.🤦 Thanks again for you kind words.

      @@danielsonhobbies Everything comes down to lowering the CG without adding additional weight. For the rear shock mounting position, it helps on steep climbs. It reduces the pull back of the front. Kind of hard to explain, but I suggest you try both position and see which one you like.

      Thank you! I used AX 31391 for the post on the salinas bed. I cut closest to the body pin insert, then drilled a hole to match the screw I am using. The salinas bed should come with holes at the front. Hope this helps. If not i can make a video for you. Happy building🤙

    What size Solinas rear bed did you get ? 70mm or smaller or larger ? And did you need a custom pan hard link bar ? Or did the stock one fit ? I want to try this chassis with a TRX4 but have a few things to work out , the main one being the skid (shapeways) or maybe the Whiskey Mod Skid or even an SCX10 aftermarket skid and just go with an axial pattern transmission,, but I’m hoping the stock pan hard link and stock steering link will work with the build , it’s very hard to get custom links In my part of the world 🌍 🇮🇪,, great build and video buddy 🙂🙌🏻

    • @danielsonhobbies
      @danielsonhobbies  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you G9000! I bought the 156mm (lenght)x 70mm (width) salinas flatbed. For the panhard, I used the stock Element link which is 112.5mm and I also used the stock steering link which is 102.20mm. All the skid you mentioned will work, however you will need custom links to achieve desired wheelbase. Take a look at the Vader skid which also has a traditional Axial bolt pattern. Are you trying to use the TRX4 axels with this chassis? The panhard and steering links on the TRX4 are different than the Element. Hope this helps!🤙

      @@danielsonhobbies Thanks for the information Joe , yes I'm trying to build a G Speed CF V3 with TRX4 axles and Trans , I was going to try the Multi Point Pan Hard Link Mount from Shapeways or the newly available G Speed one (metal or aluminium I think) I just wanted to get an Idea as regards the WIDTH of the Flatbed You chose , I'll go for the 70mm width and 156mm length same as You did , If You know of a Pan Hard Mount Link that could work for the TRX4 Axles let me know bud :) ,,looking forward to the next video :)

    • @danielsonhobbies
      @danielsonhobbies  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have seen most people using the GSpeed G-MP mount for the panhard setup and reusing TRX4 old link but extended out as needed. Another option would be to cut and re-thread your old links to make your own. Most custom links uses Traxxas 5347 end links.
      Thanks for your kind words! Getting close to finishing up my class 1 for the next video! Happy building🤘🤙
